Even though everyone saw it coming Southern Cal RB Reggie Bush made it official today, announcing that he would skip his senior season and enter the 2006 NFL Draft where he is expected to be the #1 overall pick to the Houston Texans.
Louisville running back Michael Bush, the nation's leading scorer, will skip the NFL Draft
and return to Louisville for his senior season. He should be among the
top seniors at his position going into next season and is a possible
first round pick in 2007.

Another underclassmen is staying in school with Ole Miss LB Patrick Willis deciding to bypass the NFL Draft
after getting a third round projection from the league.
It looks like the NFL Draft will have its third home in as many years
with the league in negotiations to hold the annual selection meeting at
the Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
For a change of pace there is actually news of an underclassmen staying in school. University of Tennessee junior OT Arron Sears will return to Knoxville for his senior season.

News out of Southern Cal: It appears that RB LenDale White and OT Winston Justice will announce that they're entering the NFL Draft while WR Steve Smith
will go back to school after receiving only a 3rd round grade from the
underclassmen advisory panel.
TCU wide receiver Cory Rodgers, a junior who was probably the Horned
Frogs' most dazzling playmaker on offense and special teams this past
season, said Monday that he will skip his senior season and make himself eligible for April's NFL Draft.
Second-team all-Western Athletic Conference receiver D.J. Smith has opted to forego his senior season at the University of Idaho and make himself available for the NFL Draft.
The University of Wyoming football program took a hit Monday when star junior cornerback Derrick Martin announced he would forego his senior season and enter the upcoming NFL Draft. He hopes to be "a late first-day or early second-day choice,"
University of Wisconsin All-American junior tailback Brian Calhoun informed his coaches, family and friends on Monday that he would skip his senior season and enter the April 2006 NFL Draft.

It's a mass exodous at North Carolina St. with two more underclassmen declaring. Both OT Derek Morris and DT John McCargo will forego their senior seasons
enter the 2006 NFL Draft, the university announced on Monday. This is
in addition to Mario Williams and Stephen Tulloch, who had previously
announced their intentions to leave early for the pros.
If you can believe it Virginia Tech QB Marcus Vick has been arrested AGAIN, this time being charged with three misdemeanor counts of brandishing a firearm.
The way this young man is throwing his career away is painful to watch
and he is beginning to make Maurice Clarrett look like a model citizen.
South Carolina has scheduled a teleconference for this afternoon
during which S Ko Simpson and CB Jonathan Joseph are expected to announce that they will forgo their remaining eligibility to enter Aprils NFL Draft.
University of Virginia LB Kai Parham will forgo his senior season with the Cavaliers to enter the 2006 Draft.
Notre Dame TE Anthony Fasano has decided to forego his final season of collegiate eligibility and enter the NFL Draft.
As was reported here days ago, Florida St. LB Ernie Sims made it official when he announced that he will give up his final year of eligibility to prepare for the NFL Draft in April.
Louisiana-Monroe WR Drouzon "Tree" Quillen confirmed last night that he will skip his senior season and apply for early entry into the NFL Draft.
The knee injury suffered by Wisconsin junior OT Joe Thomas in the Capitol One Bowl was indeed a torn ACL
and he will now return to school for his senior year. Prior to the
injury Thomas was considering going pro early after hearing from the
NFL's underclassmen advisory board that he was a likely Top 10-15
overall pick.

Big News! Texas junior QB Vince Young will declare for the NFL Draft where he is expected to be a Top 3 overall pick. This of course is on the heels of his amazing Rose Bowl performance.
Add another cornerback to the mix as the the Kansas City Star is reporting that Kansas junior Charles Gordon will forgo his final year of eligibility and enter the 2006 NFL Draft.
Ohio St. junior CB Ashton Youboty told the Columbus Dispatch by prepared statement that he is leaving for the NFL. The Buckeyes could lose all four starters from their defensive backfield.

Sources have told told Chris Mortensen of ESPN that even if Vince Young comes out the Houston Texans will select Reggie Bush
#1 overall. This comes after the Texans received word Friday from an
intermediary representing Texas quarterback Vince Young that the
Houston native is leaning strongly to also going pro.
The ongoing saga of Marcus Vick continues and just hours after being dismissed from the Virginia Tech football team he tells The Virginan-Pilot that he will enter the 2006 NFL Draft.
The Wolfpack have lost another underclassmen as North Carolina St. LB Stephen Tulloch will forego his senior year
to enter the NFL Draft. Tulloch ranked 12th nationally this season in
total tackles, was a first-team All-ACC performer and the MVP of the
Wolfpack's Meineke Car Care Bowl win over South Florida.

As most assumed Oregon junior DT Haloti Ngata will leave school early to enter the NFL Draft.
Even though he didn't have the junior season most thought he would Bowling Green QB Omar Jacobs will will forego his senior season at BGSU to enter the 2006 NFL Draft.
In somewhat of a surprise Washington St. junior WR Jason Hill will return to school next season. The prevailing wisdom was that Hill was almost a lock to go pro early.
Ohio St. junior S Donte Whitner is expected to declare his intention to enter the NFL Draft according to an NBA affiliate in Ohio.
Tennessee junior DT Justin Harrell has told Vols coaches that he intends to return for his senior season. No word yet on OT Arron Sears who is also considering making the leap.
In what can't be described as a surprise Virginia Tech QB Marcus Vick was permanently dismissed from the football team today. This comes on the heels of news that Vick was once again arrested
on December 17th and charged with misdemeanor driving on a suspended or
revoked driver's license. Keep in mind this was prior to his much
publicized stomping of Elvis Dumervil's leg in the Gator Bowl and in
addition to his myriad of other troubles. This leaves either a transfer
to a Division II school or the NFL as his only options for 2006.
He doesn't get a lot of publicity but Fresno St. junior CB Richard Marshall announced that he will declare himself eligible for the 2006 National Football League Draft and was given a second or third round evaluation by the league.
Penn State junior LB Paul Posluszny has two partially torn ligaments in his right knee,
an MRI revealed Friday. Posluszny sustained a partial tear of both the
MCL and PCL ligaments during Tuesday's Orange Bowl win, and will need
about six to eight weeks for rehab.
According to sources U.C.L.A. junior RB Maurice Drew plans to enter the NFL Draft and will make the announcement at a press conference in California on Saturday.
