Upon Further Review: Titans at Texans Grades

Quarterback I'm not sure I can add much to all the accolades already said about Vince Young. He deserves all the praise he gets including talk of him being the front-runner for Rookie of the Year. He was 19-for-29 for 218 yards yesterday along with another 86 with his legs. He's now 6-4 as a starting QB. Does anyone not named Merrill Hoge believe he isn't for real?
Grade: A-
Running Back Remember talk of the Titans two-headed monster of Henry and Brown? It finally came alive yesterday as the two combined for 132 yards. Henry had two TDs on the day as well and extension talks for him need to get started if they haven't already. Hall had a nice 25-yard reception that he fumbled but blocked well when given the opportunity.
Grade: A
Tight End Bo
Scaife went out early with an ankle injury and the Titans had to rely on Hartsock and Cramer to get them through. No doubt they should get a little credit for blocking but the TEs only accounted for 19 yards receiving on the day.
Grade: D
Wide Receiver After a costly early drop, Bennett had his usual big day against the Texans accounting for six catches for 113 yards including a 39-yard reception. Brandon Jones and Bobby Wade had another four catches and some nice gainers.
Grade: A-
Offensive Line They gave up a couple of sacks and had more penalties than usual but they also opened some massive holes for the run game and were able to protect Young well most of the game. Amano stepped in for Olson and did a nice job. The blitz pick-up in OT gave Young the opportunity to win the game.
Grade: A-
Defensive Line Despite few sacks on Carr, the DL was active all game long and forced the Texans to stay with the short pass. They were seriously gashed by Dayne and Lundy in the third quarter but adjusted well late when they needed a stop.
Grade: B
Linebackers Like the DL, the LBs had problems slowing the run at points in the game but did a nice job overall accounting for 21 tackles.
Grade: B
Defensive Backs Carr could only dink and dunk as the Titans kept the safeties back and took away the deep opportunities. Reynaldo Hill did a good job on Andre Johnson holding his longest reception to 21 yards and a total of 68. The tackle by Pacman which forced the Texans to kick the game-tying FG late was clutch.
Grade: A-
Special Teams Hentrich and company pinned the Texans inside their 20 five times. The kickoff coverage unit did a nice job with Mathis and Pacman had a big return in OT. Bironas was 2-for-2 with his field goal opportunities.
Grade: A
Coaching This game had trap written all over it. Everyone knew the Texans were looking to make a statement and prove passing over Young was the right move. Though they started slow, the Titans adjusted when needed throughout the game and finished well once again.
The challenge was puzzling but Fisher took the PAT instead of going for two to tie the game at 14-14 and it paid off.
