Simms Released to Make Room for Miller

The Titans have added Josh Miller to the 53-man roster in case Craig Hentrich, who had back spasms earlier in the week, can't play tomorrow against the Ravens. To make room on the roster, the team released Chris Simms who is expected to be re-signed next week. Miller has been in the league a number of years and spent time with the Titans last season and was in training camp with them this year. Simms served as Kerry Collins’ back-up for three games while Young recovered from
the knee injury he suffered in the season opener. Young returned to
practice this week and looked good enough to convince coaches he could
be available in a back-up role this Sunday.
