View Full Version : Colts' Streak Over.
SwingOnDeezBalz 12-18-2005, 08:27 PM Just thought I'd post it first. I spend more time on this board than any other opponents' and I know you guys have been waiting for the 'Clots' to fall. Well, they have. Somber mood at good 'ol Swing's house this evening.
I don't blame you for joining in with the rest of the NFL's fans in celebration.

that 28-0 the Patriots laid on the Bucs is looking real SKERRY!
:coltssuk:
DeutschTitan 12-18-2005, 10:35 PM O NOOEEESS, the Patriots are lurking! Better watch out....
Titanium 12-19-2005, 03:15 AM I'm so glad the streak is over so I don't have to hear about it on talk radio, on every pre game and post game show and on every newscast! AMEN!
:coltssuk:
getting up on soap box:
As soon as the score was final Titans radio was all over how the LOSS was good for the dolts and their quest for the SB - totally downplaying their pregame chirping about going for history - blah, blah -BLAH :coltssuk:
getting down from soap box
coltman18 12-20-2005, 01:55 PM It's too bad that San Diego beat the undefeated team, but still won't make the playoffs.
They will be forgotten just like all the other teams who fail to see the post-season.
Bring on Pats. They are no match for the Colts on turf.
Hey GoT, get ready to be hearing about the Colts going to the Super Bowl, week in and week out.
You might have to stay away from all the media outlets until the season is over.
DeutschTitan 12-20-2005, 02:23 PM The Pats are getting healthy on the D side of the ball and it showed when they put a rookie RB, who was on fire, on ice - literally. Plus, SD beat you with the PATRIOTS approach to beating you guys and we all know what happened...So I think if I was a Colts fan, and if they came to town in the Divisional play-offs, I'd be a little worried...As for SD, they'll be thanking us when we knock the Jags up in January and put them in the play-offs.
Now, another thing, you might say "well we beat the patriots this year, pffft!". You certainly did. You beat a team that couldn't stop the run, now they can and we all know what happens when Edge isn't getting yards.......

coltman18 12-20-2005, 02:29 PM If you are comparing the Pats of old to the new, then you can't compare the Colts of old to what you saw against SD.
Edge had the fewest carries of the year. They were not playing all out football. Why run Edge to the ground and get him hurt?
Trust me, all out was the last 13 weeks which went undefeated.
You won't see the real Colts until the playoffs and they can beat even a healthy NE team.
DeutschTitan 12-20-2005, 02:36 PM Well, we'll see....will be an interesting game, that's for sure.
EDIT: Wait, I said that last year and things went sour for you guys......

One injury away from falling like a house of cards. Statistically, the Colts are due for a big injury. I'm betting it comes in the Divisional Game.
Bye bye SB ring.
Banshee2 12-20-2005, 04:15 PM Let's not go crazy, now. As much as it pains me to admit it (and it does, 8 timezones away), they're still the odds on fave to win it all. The AFC ain't going to be no cakewalk, tho'.
I'd also be wary about the Bengals. Marvin's got those boys believing right now...

Marvin's got them believing, and the Pats are looking VERY scary right now also. :brow:
Gunny 12-20-2005, 06:02 PM Edge had the fewest carries of the year. They were not playing all out football. Why run Edge to the ground and get him hurt?
then why play him?
why play all your starters the whole game?
your point has no basis. "oh we werent playing all out"
"Why run Edge into the ground"
:sad2:

Oh I don't mind it during normal talk shows, but this was TITAN post game coverage I was talking about. If I want to hear a bunch of people panting about how hot the prancing ponies are I can always turn on ESPN.

:sad2:
that is called 'whistling thru the graveyard' there Gunny
dolt fans know what they saw happen and they have to put the best facade on it that they can. calling it MEANINGLESS post defeat is truly MEANINGLESS
coltman18 12-21-2005, 04:07 PM I guess you all thought last year's loss to Denver was the real Colts team as well.
I do believe the starters were in that game too.
Yes, the Colts tried to win, but they weren't playing with the same emotion or intensity as they did in weeks before when home field advantage was on the line.
I agree that the road through the playoffs will not be easy, but NE doesn't scare me. They might have been in their head in previous seasons, but not this year.
The Bengals are the only AFC team that scares me. They match up very well against the Colts.
TitanFan4Life 12-21-2005, 04:20 PM They match up very well against the Colts.
That and the :coltssuk:
SEC 330 BIPOLAR 12-26-2005, 08:22 PM I guess we can expect to hear more excuses
now that the Seahawks smoked them.
one's an accident, two's a trend?
:coltssuk:
coltman18 12-27-2005, 10:16 AM If you read my posts, I told you the Colts would lose this game.
Check out Prisco's grades and it seems that everyone but Titans' fans thought this was meaningless game.

SEC 330 BIPOLAR 12-27-2005, 12:35 PM coltman18, I see no mention of that in this thread.
You can't expect me to have read every post in every forum on the site.
Who do you think I am? Gunny? LOL.
Well then, let me ask you this...
If the Colts lose to Arizona...is three a problem?
Or is that just the grieving process?
Don't think that this whole Dungy thing is no big deal.
It's not like his dog got hit by a car or something.
Do you think Dungy is going to get over this like a cold?
couldn't help but laugh:
Prisco's grades...
Titans: Steve McNair was awful with a 7.2 passer rating before sitting down with an injury.
I'll just be honest with you. I and many others whether they will admit it or not root against the Colts and relish their losses because our Titans really are not very good at all anymore. I hope you realize that. It seems so often that you guys come around to "convert" us. A few years ago I didn't hate the Colts quite as much. These last few years our team has completely imploded. It's not that we blame the Colts, but we can credit them with like what? --- six straight division losses? The point is why bother with us when
we are offering up a collective "cheers" when Peyton gets broken or whines when he losses? That's the other reason alot of Titans fans don't like the Colts. Peyton Manning is a huge queer bait. He may be a heck of a qb but in his case qb doubles as queer bait. The guy is such a goob. Now, I know he wins alot of ballgames but don't expect me to like it. When he wins as many games as he does of course sad, pathetic, Peyton haters like myself are going to go "hooray". That's just the way it is. That and :coltssuk:
coltman18 12-27-2005, 02:41 PM What a post. OK, I do expect the Colts to play harder in the Arizona game because IMO they should want to go into the playoffs with a winning attitude and the chip on their shoulders that they had when they were undefeated. A loss would truly hurt and could affect them in the playoffs.
I'm not worried about Dungy. The players have been on a schedule from day one and that schedule will continue. Film study, fundamentals, etc. I do expect the players to play harder than they ever have this year. They will come together and make sure they win every game here on out. Remember what happened when Favre lost his dad? No matter where Favre threw the ball, a WR was there to catch it. The players will play their hearts out for Dungy.
I guess I'm like Gunny then, because I do read a lot of posts. And I know you hate Manning and the Colts, much like I hate Brady and the Patriots. I'm not here to offer you a place on the bandwagon, although I have in jest somewhere on this site :ha:
I come here for entertainment and for a good debate. Gunny and Starkiller always offer good debates and good humor. Others just make me laugh and remind me how good team rivalries can be.
Go Colts!
Gunny 12-27-2005, 06:05 PM I guess I'm like Gunny then
blasphemy. :brow:
I think you just want in on Reynaldology.
