Didn't AJ Nicholson just get arrested for sexual assault?

No thanks, I'd rather have one of the Iowa boys...I like your other pics, though...

5. DE Manny Lawson, N.C. State
5. CB Cletis Gordon (comp.), Jackson State
6. WR Skyler Green, LSU

Manny Lawson is a great pick! The physical attributes the announcer was reading off in NC State's Bowl game were almost "Freak-ish"...

I reckon you're dreaming. Billy's value has nosedived this year. I would doubt we would get any more than a 5th or 6th for him. Backups like Rivers, Garrard, Schaub, Kitna, Dilfer would all be more keenly sought than Billy.

Jets like Billy, early in the year Billy V's value was a high 2nd, low 1st, he didn't drop that much, people still like his talent. And I am sure Herm and Herm would love to have him in their offense. So no its not a dream. Although it may take fillers, like Billy V. and our 7th round pick for their 3rd rounder.

4. LB, Ernie Sims
5. OT, Daryn Colledge
5. DE, Manny Lawson

7. WR, Skyler Green

Has anyone heard anything about the safety from georgia Greg Blue? I saw a highlight real of his hits on ESPN and that guy is flat out nasty.

We'd be very lucky to get a 3rd rounder for him at his price.

Ahmad Brooks did absolutely nothing this past year. He is not NFL ready.

He was overcome with injuries too. Should bring his draft stock down hopefully to the second or third round. Well probably not the third.

He had surgery on a degenerative bone condition in his knee before the season began. Who knows what that spells for the future.

Yea, people said the same thing about Thomas Davis last year. "All he does is hit people, he can't cover, he'll be a LB. Blah, Blah, Blah! I guess thats why he was the 14th player selected last year and has had a solid rookie year. He would be a HUGE upgrade at either safety position for the Titans! Not to mention, bigtitan, all you have been preaching for in this draft was someone who is nasty. Well, Mr. Greg Blue is as Nasty as they come. Anyone who wants to form their own opinion about the guy should watch The Sugar Bowl tonight! And no way will Max Jean-Gilles be around in round 2!

Be worth checking Greg Blue out regardless.

Sometimes even top guards last until the top of round two. I wouldn't mind a MJG with #35, especially since we'll lose one or both Piller and Olson.

Hell Kalif Barnes made it to the second round last year and no one really predicted that, but Blue would make receivers think twice before crossing midfield!

I think someone needs to lay off the crack Cutler will not be our first round selection.

Special on foxnews where Cutler has been seen at the Titans camp working out, looks like were not the only ones that need to "lay off the crack" watch the guy play and see if the titans dont trade down a few picks to get him and some extra picks. Think about it, that is a Titans kind of move.

you're exactly right, i want someone nasty. but i also want someone who can do the things they're asked to do. greg blue can't cover. he can hit. great! add 15 pounds of muscle on to him and move him to linebacker.

yeah, i guess 38 tackles and 1.5 sacks is a pretty solid year...

I think the FO is all about filling multiple needs with one player. On offense we need a future QB and possibly a better RB. VINCE YOUNG = QB/RB LOL...:ha:

Then take heart. We have a better chance of getting him if Young enters the draft. Otherwise you can all but guarantee Leinart goes to New Orleans. No matter who you want, Young entering the draft is a good thing for us. It basically gives the draft 3 players who could go #1 overall if the other two weren't there.

Ok so your saying he is better than Vince Young give me a brake Cutler will not be a sucessful NFL QB. Steve will push for Young if he comes out and if not Chow will push for a way to get Leinart. So no Cutler he isn't on the same universe as they are. And with Hopkins Gone most likely gone Ferguson would be a good pick. And imagine Hawk with Bulluck, amazing. One of those options.

Troupe4Prez
01-05-2006, 04:39 PM
So how is it that Cutler wont be a successful QB? What qualities about him make him less of a prospect than any other QB? The only thing that comes to mind is the perennial losing team he was on that he almost led to its first bowl game in 20 some years! Where Vince Young may fall short is where Cutler comes up strong!!! Vince Young is a great college QB as is Cutler, but there is no way to say that any of these guys will be a success in the NFL i.e. Akili Smith and Cade McNown. But to say that Cutler wont be successful based on personal preference is somewhat of a blind statement. Watch the kid play and there is no way you can say he has any less of a chance than Leinart or Young.

or we could trade down in the first round and load up on a fairlly decent draft...VY scares me a little and Lienert didn't look so good last night. I liked Andre Ware a lot too so pay me no mind...

Trading down seems like one of the more Titan-esque moves in this draft that is loaded with equal talent in picks 1-5. Wouldnt be the first time the titans traded out for extra picks to fill needs.
