View Full Version : Pac-Man Prison Poll

When will Adam "Pac-Man" Jones have his mug shot taken next?

Traffic only incidents not allowed, but see tiebreaker #1.

#1 Tiebreaker - name the offense, and posession is not allowed as it is just presumed that posession will be included in the charges.

#2 Tiebreaker - number of thuglettes and ne'er-do-wells involved

Final Tiebreaker - name of additional Titans involved, and Travis Henry is not allowed.

the guy didnt ask if he was good or gonna be good or plays with intensity...
we already know the above is true.

you gotta love the kid, but we all know he's a screw up right now.
its a lighthearted post anyhow...

i give him to about the mid-second round of the draft to get in a fight at a night club(just in time to wish we had another corner)
-- simple assault... three(give or take one) thuglets involved
calico in the corner... and oh we'll throw in a lamont thompson too(if he's still around by then... maybe visiting a fellow dred-head)

The only thing he did wrong was grab the facemask. Umm wait a minute- and he called the ref a dumb***** for not seeing the shove that pi$$ed him off.

He's saying the right things. He'll be fine. Ya know, I'm surprised everyone's calling him a thug- he hasn't been convicted of any crime since he's been on the Titans.

I think he buts in because he's trying to help people get along. He's trying to say that people aren't trying to knock you in a serious or offensive way, just part of the board. Just to clarify, if you don't use ebonics, how do you classify the thread maybe last week where you were clarifying slang? Do you really mean you've never clarified an ebonic term on here?

Pacman 4 mvp32, why? What possible argument could be given for that? While I think he's going to turn into a great player, I don't think there's any evidence at this point to even suggest MVP of any sort. Not MVP, not rookie of the year, not even close to defensive rookie of the year, certainly not MVP of the titans... please provide some sort of evidence or argument for what you're trying to say...

You know I have begun wishing I would have voted differently on this, I picked Probowl, but after considering it a while I have decided that with his history for being a "team guy" really the best bet will be mini camps because that way he can miss a couple of days and the fish will say, "pac will be here when he gets his personal things worked out". Can't you just hear that.:suspect:

I'm disgusted by this thread. I've talked to one of the cops that arrested him at the club, so I know he really showed his rear that night. He really left a bad impression, but I think he's really come on as the season wore on and even though he's showed many instances of immaturity he's kept his nose clean for quite a while now and is a fierce competitor. He has shown to be the best cover CB taken in the first round. At least by this years play in my opinion. Anyway, my bottom line is he's a young man who has been through a lot in his lifetime and has overcome a lot. He needs to be accountable for his actions, but he does not nearly deserve the treatment he has gotten from the fans IMO. I was disgusted when we drafted him instead of Mike Williams, but I love the 3 WRs we got in the draft now and think PacMan will wind up being the best choice in hindsight. You're entitled to your opinions and feelings, but I think this thread was a little on the ugly side. Just my opinion.

Pac needs to get it together. I think Fish is done baby sitting so we'll see if he can clean his act up. I'm sick of hearing about how bad he had it growing up. Get over it! He's got it pretty damn good now so I could care less about what happened years ago. Lots of people have grown up in terrible situations and turn out to be great people. Dante Culpepper grew up in an orphanage but you don't see him going out and causing trouble and then blaming it on how he grew up. Just an example. Seriously, there has to come a time when Pac quits using a crutch like growing up in the hood and becomes accountable for his actions. I love the way he plays football and I hope he gets things straight cause if he continues to have off the field or locker room problems I don't think he'll last long.

Come August I'll be drinking the PACMAN kool-aide again...
Right now, I'm pi$$ed because I had alot emotionally invested in PAC.
Those of you that have been here longer than I know what I mean...

I was giving him the rah!rah! (support) before he was even in camp. I have gone out of my way, at times even being stupid, defending Pacman. Now he goes and pulls that junk in the last game? What in God's green earth am I suppossed to say now? "Wait until August, You'll see!" ... whatever.

In another thread I took out all my anger over this...I was irate. I'm pretty much over that, but people, feel free, joke it up... He has earned it. In life and in football, you reap what you sow... I'm a huge Pacman supporter and anyone who is relatively familular with me knows it. I have faith that Pacman will be the best corner taken at #6 since Champ Bailey...even better...it's going to take some time...but for now...this is the offseason.

Remember this:
"You are only as good as your last game"
- Mark Schlereth

Don't forget it.

As for being disgusted by jokes...GoT, I totally agree with you in regards to a "high road" view in regards to this thread. Puck's photo shop master piece cracked me up. I laughed so hard I nearly split my gut. Made me feel better about all the defending and sticking up I've done over the course of the season.

Now, I have not voted in the poll because none of the answers are suitable to me, so, I will just issue an opinion on the matter.

Given Pac's track record it is likely that he will be involved in some sort of judicial altercation. He might pull a Randy Moss and smoke out and decide it might be fun to run over a metermaid. Does that count as a traffic incident? :ha: It is my hope he is okay and does not screw the pooch so to speak. I really expect him to spend his offseason working on himself. He better.

Now, remember this?

"I don’t need no extra cheers, I don’t need no help. When it flips over, don’t jump on the bandwagon. When it flips over — it’s gonna flip over real soon — don’t jump on the bandwagon, [because] I’m gonna tell you how it is. You all tell me how it is right now, but when it flips over, boy I’m gonna let you have it. I’m telling you all now, [because] you all been letting me have it." - Pacman Jones

did anyone catch Fisher's comments last night on Channel 5.

Mark Howard asked him straight out if Jones was a cancer to this team. Fisher in his usual way avoid the question but did say he treats everyone differently for the same set of rules. Could there be some truth about the problems in the locker room between Jones and the other players??

After the last game it makes you wonder if Fisher is tired of protecting Jones from the players, fans and media.

I think that winning cures everything. When your losing as much as those guys were I think everyone is probably in a pissy mood. Not defending Pac I'm just saying that under different circumstances we may not have been as concerned with his actions.

Pac just needs teamates willing to exersize some "tough love". The sooner Fisher convinces Pac that he won't take ANY crap this season the better off the team will be. However, it can't be lip service. Fisher has to be willing to bench Pac and Reese has to be willing to fine him til it hurts.
