Similar writing can be found in the Alcoholics Anonymous book under the chapter titled "To Wives". This is a real piece of work :ha: AA groups usually can't get through that chapter without plenty of pointing and laughing.

I just dislike Family Guy because it's extremely formulaic. But I found this scene funny as hell.

I just found it tasteless and too extreme even for Family Guy.

I thought it was actually some really hiliarious satire of some of my favorite directors "over-the-top" violence scenes (i.e. the conclusion of Scorsesse's Casino, where they beat the people (no spoiler) for a few minutes with baseball bats, then bury them alive together). Whatever, to each their own.

Okay this isn't funny, but it's cool (at least to me). It's the pivotal sequence from one of my favourite movies of the past decade David Lynch's Mulholland Drive. This scene has always haunted me, the song "Llorando" (a spanish cover of Orbison's Crying) by Rebekah del Rios is the most moving musical sequence that I've ever experienced in a film. This is why I love movies (and the fact that I was able to view this clip by itself on line is yet another reason to love You Tube)

Perhaps the ONLY funny thing I've seen on SNL in like...half a decade.

Even Stephen was one of the funnier bits on Daily Show. Show has lost quality since they left. I don't find Colbert Report paticularly funny most of the time. :sad2:

I didn't start watching the Daily Show until after Carell was gone, so I never saw these skits before Ten F@&king Years showed it. But I do think The Colbert Report is pretty damned good (I didn't when it first started).

I find his "Ultra-conservative-to-the-point-of-absurdity" persona too much for a 30-minute, daily television show. I wish he would have stayed on the Daily Show, and just brought it out once in a while; it would be much funnier IMO.

He was hilarious and he paved the way for Eddie, Martin, etc., but the thing that a lot of people forget is that Pryor had his own road paved by one John Elroy Sanford. He's the GOAT in my opinion.
