Yea, what the hell was that? Coach says punt, Manning starts waving the punt team off the field and starts beating on his helmet for someone to call a play. Dungy should have went out there and drug him off the field by his facemask.
Then on Polamalu's Int., the ref say's,"the player lost the ball BEFORE he got his knee off the ground". HUH? I have played and been around football my entire life, and have never heard of such a stupid explanation for an incomplete pass.

Steeler's defense played very well...though the offense became way too conservative in the 2nd half...looked like the Titans just trying not to lose. Bettis is too much of a vet to go into that line in the 4th with one hand on the ball...stupid...he should be putting a huge check in the offering plate for getting bailed out of that bonehead play.

On the other hand...there is NOONE I am more happy to see almost in tears over CHOKING BIG TIME than VANDERJERK. I hate the guy...he is too ****y to be a kicker. Last person I want to see on any team walking like he is hot crap is a kicker...especially the barmaid's friend VanderJERK.

So...Colts have a great year...happy for Dungy because I really do like and respect that guy...but guess what. We all get to watch the Superbowl from home here and in Indy.....except we at least get to savour that 3rd pick overall....

The one player on that team who didn't choke today was peyton manning. Manning doesn't kick, he doesn't play defense and i could be wrong but i don't think he plays on the offensive line.
he had little running game to work with either. Still he managed 290 yards passing with a 90 passing rating. He got his team in position to tie and his moron kicker couldn't make a kick he had been making all year. Not a single miss at home but he shanks it when it counts the most.

Being a fan of the tennessee titans i don't fee like puffing my cheat out and acting big because a far far superior team happened to lose a game. The colts beat us like a step child this year and the titans are one of the absolute worst teams in football the last 2 seasons. Be proud of that.

As bad as the Titans were this year, they won the same number of playoff games as the Colts, lead by the King of Choker Manning.

What are you talking about? Bucs won a wild card game in '97 - first time since the 70s or something like that, and won another one in '99 or '00 before losing to the Rams in the NFC Championship game.

That's sortof what I was thinking - except the Titans dominated that game vs. Ravens except on scoreboard. I didn't think the Colts really played well enough to win today. Everything was aligned for Titans that year like things for Colts this year. You can't hold teams like that together for long - the window of opportunity.

Yup. Except I think it was worse. We dominated the Ravens that day statistically. A meltdown by Del Greco and some hands of stone by Eddie George gave the Ravens all they needed.

Then we had to watch the Ravens take it the rest of the way. If the Steelers do that as well, it'll just make it worse. I think the Titans would have gone all the way if they'd gotten past the Ravens.
