"I am going to try to be a good team mate here, but we had our protection problems."

Yep, all the OL's fault. Nice.

He's a jerk. Plain and simple.

$10 the media won't say a thing about it though.

You lose that bet. Terry Bradshaw was all over it saying as a QB you DO NOT say that...

BTW, you read it here first...

The big deal is you don't throw your teammates under the bus like that to the press.

Did Manning have a perfect game? NO. Who is he to call out his teammates TO THE MEDIA? Do that in private.

It's called being a leader. Which he is not. And that's the reason he will never lead a team to the Championship, and forever be labled a choker.
He does not inspire others to follow him...

Jwill...

A good teammate doesn't throw fellow teammates under the bus like that. Everybody jumped Vandy when he did the same exact thing.

Especially Manning who said about Vandy,

"we have an idiot kicker who got liquored up and ran his mouth..."

I don't think Manning was liquored up, so what's his excuse for running his mouth? Just and idiot?

Selfish jerkoff.

And never call out your teammates to the media.

But how much will it be scrutinised? Other then an off-hand comment by Bradshaw what else will happen?

It was a lot more than an off hand comment. He was adamant about it, and the panel was with him.

So, I won't my 10 dollars...AMERICAN!

I'm sorry but that is just a typical thing for Manning to say. It's stuff like that that makes me feel the way about him that I do. That is some juvenile :banned:-:banned:-:banned:-:banned: !!! It would be better if he said nothing at all. Even being a poor sport to the Steelers would be better than cutting the throats of the guys that have created an enviroment for him to succeed in all year long. Peyton is a loser. He lost today and I doubt he'll ever win with that chi.

Who did he throw under the bus, his teammates or the coaching staff? would it have been better if he said something like, "we had problems picking up the blitz" or "their D-Line was getting on us quickly all day"? because those two things mean the same thing as what he said. Maybe the way it was phrased didn't come out right, but it was a true statement. I'm not sticking up for Peyton, I hate the Colts, but this is just the typical kind of comment taken out of context, and the media's way to stir the pot.

The way he said is was very blatantly malicious. Also, I didn't hear him taking any of the blame on himself despite his playing poorly for the majority of the game.

You dont say anything negative about your team-mates to the media. You keep it in house.

It's disrespectful, especially when your dissing the guys who kept your ***** clean for the majority of the year.

I keep waiting for one of his teammates to turn around & tell him to STFU or break his hand when he's waving it.

Well, for starters, he could have owned it, period. No...that's not the Peyton way. He's gotta pass the buck just like he always has. Peyton never takes responsiblity for his own failure or shortcoming...His remarks should have been something like:

"We just couldn't seem to get it done. We had a few good breaks but somehow we fell short. I tried my best to put Mike in position to make that kick and if only I had... well, it doesn't really matter, it's over now. I guess it's time to focus on taking some off time and looking at our draft. Pittsburg played one hell of a game. That one long haired fellow was robbed wasn't he? :ha:"

Tom Brady would've said something like that.
What did Brady say yesterday?
I should try to find out.

you can bet all your money Brady was class in his conference after losing.

What money? :winker:

edit:

"It's going to be a long flight home, a long offseason," Brady said. "It's just tough all around."

"You aren't going to beat anybody turning the ball over like that," Brady said.

"It's going to be hard to watch those games," he said.
"Can both teams lose?"

"It's disappointing when you look back at the game and you realize how many points we just laid up on a silver platter," Brady said. "You're never going to win when you do that, especially on the road."

I wonder if the team wants it's 100 Mil back? Maybe they could buy something cool with it.
