Our GM, the one that passed on Bush is in line to be promoted to the NFL front office to replace ART SHELL. If he goes, it is a promotion and he will have a voice in what all NFL teams do. WE, the Texans are not promoting him within the Organization.

Your other poster wrote a leading question, nothing more, and provided no such information, for whatever it might have been, (I trust it is congruent with your statement) ... it was not provided and I was left to draw an assumption about...Patterson's vacancy.
