Hit DMase for 4.
Scored on a 6-yard run.
7:22 time of possession. Not too shabby.
Gunny 08-11-2006, 08:58 PM very nice.
is he coming back in or is he done?
BAMARON 08-11-2006, 09:00 PM I don't think anyone of us doubt that Steve can still play...But how long til some big D lineman breaks loose on him and sets him on the sideline for the next 8 games ?
Good for him, but only cause it is exhibition football - lol
titanbuoy 08-11-2006, 09:04 PM Mase left the game with a concussion.
Mase left the game with a concussion.
from head-butting McNair ?
Blazing Arrow 08-11-2006, 09:09 PM I am glad to see he looked good. It is preseason so I am ok with him having some glory.
titanbuoy 08-11-2006, 09:19 PM It's kind of off topic but Jay Cutler is lighting up the Lions' D. He's 16-22-192-1TD-0INT
Gunny 08-11-2006, 09:22 PM 2nd team D?
titanbuoy 08-11-2006, 09:24 PM 2nd team D?
No doubt. He just threw the TD in the third quarter.
PhiSlammaJamma 08-11-2006, 10:39 PM It's been a friggin raven lovefest on the nfl network. It's almost sickening. This is only going to make it worse. But this is vintage mcNair. TE, TE, TE, Scramble. If you give that to him he will eat you alive. He reads the TE better than anyone. Which is kinda funny, cause I don't even know if he had a TE in college.
BAMARON 08-11-2006, 11:04 PM OK...I'm gonna say it... I'm a Titans fan...You play for us...I pull for you...I hate ( Am I allowed to say HATE) the ratbirds...I don't wish them well...and since Mac chased the $$$ up to Baltimore...I don't wish him well. ( I don't want him die or anything...just do as well as he did for us the last two seasons)
And yeah, Phi I too am tired of the Baltimore lovefest...Don't worry...and you can quote me on this one ..Baltimore isn't goin' anywhere ...

"Tonight was a thing where everything was perfect on the first drive," McNair said. "It's a good sign. I'm very excited."
Gunny 08-12-2006, 05:50 AM just like last year.

he doesn't own them anymore.
stats on the right (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baltimore_Ravens)
MadAboutMcNair 08-12-2006, 06:34 AM Purple never looked so good...
BAMARON 08-12-2006, 12:19 PM just like last year.
I thought the same thing...That first drive against Pittsburg last year was perfect...Then came the rest of the season..
I'm not impressed.
LazyManJackson 08-12-2006, 12:24 PM Let him do well...as long as the Ravens D gets decapitated
Canadian Titan 08-12-2006, 04:35 PM I don't know about you guys, but I watched the first Ravens drive where they scored, it felt like I was watching an old Titan game except with a good running back, with Mac and Mase there. It's really weird to watch their offense now. I can't wait for the Ravens vs Titans game!
moose4now 08-12-2006, 05:27 PM very nice.
is he coming back in or is he done?
He'll be back. And, he'll put Todd Heap at a level he's never been before.
RollTide 08-12-2006, 06:18 PM Really finished off that TD run. As sean salisbury said "you better be ready tio bring something when you tackle steve mcnair."
Childress79 08-12-2006, 06:37 PM Yeah u could just see the guys behind the endzone with a stretcher
Hoffa 08-12-2006, 11:56 PM Yeah u could just see the guys behind the endzone with a stretcher
:ha: Good one.
So, who do you think looked better in the first game, McNair or Volek?
I didn't see the Raven game, but Volek looked very good. Bennett should have caught that long one, the throw was on the money.
moose4now 08-13-2006, 12:46 AM So, who do you think looked better in the first game, McNair or Volek?
We're not really going to get into a Volek/McNair debate now?
Are we?
That's just not right.
