What are your thoughts on this game. Will the Titans open it up more or will they play the basics again. How will the defense do against a much better team compared to who we played last week.

How will the defense do against a much better team compared to who we played last week. Broken Record 08-17-2006, 11:51 AM I think we'll still see a vanilla gameplan with a lot of running much like last week. If the Broncos run Nash a lot, our defense will be fine. bored1 08-17-2006, 12:23 PM Ya our defense should be pretty use to nash by now. Ewker 08-17-2006, 12:24 PM If Nash runs it won't be until later in the game when we have our 2 or 3rd D in. He will want to prove he was worth keeping even though he wasn't I know we will be doing a steady dose of running the ball. The Broncos D will be tougher than NO D was. I think the Titans may open up Young more in passing the ball. I don't think they will want him running the ball much after last week. I will admit I am looking forward in seeing how Cutler does. If he does anything like last week our secondary will be busy. Blazing Arrow 08-17-2006, 12:36 PM I think we will test out 1st team WRs against a solid Broncos secondary. We had allot of drops last week and our WRs need to get there heads in the game more and catch those easy balls. I would expect the second team to be heavy on the run cramming White down there throats to see how he handles the NFL in game time situations. Less running by Young more passing. Though I think allot of his runs where blown pass plays where he did not see his open receiver. Crash Override 08-17-2006, 12:50 PM you do not want to show opposing teams your playbook in the pre-season, we'll probably be playing vanilla on both sides. moose4now 08-17-2006, 01:10 PM you do not want to show opposing teams your playbook in the pre-season, we'll probably be playing vanilla on both sides. At least until next week when the starters begin to see a little more playing time. Crash Override 08-17-2006, 02:01 PM yeah true. SEC 330 BIPOLAR 08-17-2006, 02:05 PM I think the DB's will decimate Cutler's attempts. Go PAC. Praise Rey! Look for Woolfolk to seriously injur someone. Puck 08-17-2006, 03:35 PM At least until next week when the starters begin to see a little more playing time. Isn't week 3 of the pre-season when Jeff sits the starters ? Ewker 08-17-2006, 03:40 PM I think the DB's will decimate Cutler's attempts. Go PAC. Praise Rey! Look for Woolfolk to seriously injur someone. :rotfl: :)) Vigsted 08-17-2006, 04:49 PM Didn't Fisher already say he was planning on throwing a few stunts and blitzes in there this week, expecting the same from Shannahan? I was sure I read that somewhere. Hoffa 08-17-2006, 04:52 PM I think the Titans may open up Young more in passing the ball. I don't think they will want him running the ball much after last week. That's when he got hurt, on a passing play. If no one is open, he has to run. If they want to protect him, watch for more handoffs. Snookus 08-17-2006, 09:09 PM I don't know about yall but I'm looking forward to watching LenDale. Broken Record 08-17-2006, 09:37 PM I don't know about yall but I'm looking forward to watching LenDale. Yep. I want to see what he looks like against NFL players. That's the first thing I'll be watching for. The second thing I'll be watching for is Woolfolk's Uncle going crazy in the stands. Snookus 08-17-2006, 09:46 PM Yep. I want to see what he looks like against NFL players. That's the first thing I'll be watching for. The second thing I'll be watching for is Woolfolk's Uncle going crazy in the stands. And stray mascots running over opposing players in a golf cart. nomoreschwartz 08-17-2006, 09:52 PM I'll get to be at this one (In Denver)....first titan's game..I'm pretty psyched. I'm row 2 behing the Titans bench, hopefully I can get a few autographs. Gunny 08-17-2006, 09:58 PM just tell em your a reynaldologist. PhiSlammaJamma 08-17-2006, 11:39 PM Our first look at the Texans new playbook. Banshee2 08-18-2006, 08:58 AM Cutler's going to destroy the second team CB's. On the other hand, seeing Vince v. Jay could be a preview of playoffs 2008! Louisiana Titan 08-18-2006, 09:52 AM I just want the starters in for two possessions. Break a little sweat, then sit down. Broncos Fan 08-21-2006, 02:34 AM I think the DB's will decimate Cutler's attempts. You thought wrong.:ha: Hoffa 08-21-2006, 02:50 AM You thought wrong.:ha: And what were your pregame predictions? Oh right, you didn't have the balls to come here and post them before the game. Move on ***** SEC 330 BIPOLAR 08-21-2006, 11:44 AM And what were your pregame predictions? Oh right, you didn't have the balls to come here and post them before the game. Move on ***** he's fine... I was plugging our site at the Freak all week. Cut the guy some slack. I had the balls to show up at the Freak before and after the game... that likely is tubby I bet... Welcome to goTitans Broncos Fan. Don't let Hoffa scare you. He bullies everyone like that. here, you might like this thread, http://www.gotitans.com/goForum/showthread.php?t=18315 or this one... http://www.gotitans.com/goForum/showthread.php?t=19528 Soxcat 08-21-2006, 01:01 PM If the Broncos run Nash a lot, our defense will be fine. Can you imagine the final discussion between Nash and Fisher as Nash is being cut. Fisher: Sorry Damien but we just don't think you are NFL material. Nash: Common, give me a chance. Fisher: Sorry, no way I see you running with any success in this league unless it is against the most poorly coached wimpy, panzy, panty waste defense in NFL history. Nash: You will regret this decision. Fisher: We know what we are doing. Hoffa 08-21-2006, 04:21 PM He bullies everyone like that. I do not. If someone comes on here after a game and makes fun of a prediction someone made before a game, well then, they are a *****, and I called him on it. Plain and simple, no bullying involved. You might know these clowns, but most of us (me) haven't been introduced. So that's what it is. Overalls 08-21-2006, 07:19 PM Our first look at the Texans new playbook. Let's hope so.
