View Full Version : Who are your Standout Titans this year?
ammotroop 09-07-2006, 07:39 PM Offense - Travis Henry - He def has something to prove
Defense - KVB - people will know his name EVERYwhere after this year
Special Teams - PACMAN - You know he is going to return a few punts - we just got hope he stays out of jail, out of the refs ear, and there are no holding penalties when he brings it to the house
TitanJeff 09-07-2006, 07:50 PM Offense - I think this is Troupe's season.
Defense - I'm hoping it is the year Haynesworth puts a full season together.
Special Teams - I agree that Pacman should be a threat all season long.
Crash Override 09-07-2006, 07:54 PM Offense- Drew Bennett I think can have a great season.
Defense- Reynaldo Hill should have a huge season.
Special Teams- Of course it's Pac Man.
Vigsted 09-07-2006, 07:57 PM Offence - Brandon Jones & Ben Troupe - I think they will both have a breakout year
Defence - Pac - I think he will take his game to the next level this year
ST - Pac or Wade, whoever ends up doing most of the returning, our returns have looked pretty good so far.
Big TT 09-07-2006, 08:29 PM O-Troupe, they should be designing the O for him to catch 6-8 balls every game like KC does with Gonzalez. He is a beast.
D-Albert, time to dominate the whole season.
Special teams-A lot of people will say Pthug but did we really spend the #6 overall on a punt returner, please say no. Got to be Baronis.
moose4now 09-07-2006, 08:54 PM Offence- Troupe.
Defence- Pacman (if he keeps his nose clean).
Special Teams- I hope it's Bironas. Something tells me we're going to need him. :irked:
O - gotta go with Troupe as well
D - Big Al
ST's - Pac
cdy_hitt 09-07-2006, 09:41 PM Offense- Brown and Troupe
Defense- Bulluck and Pac
Special Teams- Pac
Snookus 09-07-2006, 09:58 PM Offense - Troupe, he will be a great guy to dump the ball off too.
Defense - Pacman, he had some pretty good hits in the pre-season, hopefully he carries that into the regular season.
Special Teams - Pacman again, awesome first year at returner, should be even better now.
Broken Record 09-07-2006, 10:33 PM Offense - Piller
Defense - Thompson
ST - Nickey
Offense - Piller
Defense - Thompson
ST - Nickey
Those were my second choices.
Starkiller 09-07-2006, 10:51 PM Offense - It's probably slim pickings here, but I'll say Troupe
Defense - Pac
Creeping-Cruds 09-07-2006, 10:52 PM Offense: Wade
Defense: Big Albert
Special Teams: Pac & Wade
GLinks 09-07-2006, 10:53 PM Funny, BR.
Offense - Troupe. Henry will show something he hasn't shown in a while, but I don't know if he'll be top dog. It depends on if Brown goes down. One of these two guys will break a thousand yards, I'm just not sure who yet. Brandon Jones will slowly climb the depth chart. He's going to make someone up top nearly expendable next year if he stays healthy. Oh, and did I say Kevin Mawae.
Key role players: Scaife, White, Roos, and if Pillar doesn't perform, I'll say Bell.
Defense - Bulluck, Pacman, Haynesworth, Thornton.
Key role players: Hope (not sure he "dominates" or anything this year), Finnegan, Tulloch (yep) and of course, KVB. His breakout year was last year. Don't really know if he'll be more productive. I hope he's up there at the top group, but IMO, we'll get more sacks on the whole, but it'll be more spread around. I think we're going to have a very active defense, and in the second half of the season, they are going be swarming around people, and confusing the bejeezus out of some offenses.
Special Teams -- Pacman, Hentrich and Wade. We're going to dominate here, and this will keep us in games we might not otherwise be in.
Potential breakouts: Collins and Bennett. Actually, the more I think about it, I think Bennett could break 1000 yards again this year, and if he and Collins develop some chemistry, Collins might have one of his better years. Let's hope. I think if Collins plays well (big IF), he could keep Young on the bench longer. We'll see. I'm pretty hopeful, though.
GLinks 09-07-2006, 10:56 PM Disclaimer on the defense: .....if we're lucky.
TitanKid4Life 09-07-2006, 11:40 PM offense - bobby wade

Guess I forgot to use the "it's a Joke" font.
Banshee2 09-08-2006, 03:18 PM O - Hopefully Troupe (I drafted him in my work FF league). I think BJones has a chance to become a go-to guy. I'd love to say Givens, but he's been another FA WR injury-lister so far (see: Yancy Thigpen, Carl Pickens)
D - I think the "breakout" year is going to be PJones. He's due for his first NFL INT. Big Al, once again, could go to the ProBowl IF he actually stays healthy. Bulluck will be Bulluck, although he's also due for another PB appearance.
Special Teams - PJones here, too.

Defense-Hope and Big AL
ST's- Pac
Childress79 09-08-2006, 04:08 PM Offence Z Pillar

In my book they should both stand out in the parking lot until the games over :whoop:
cdy_hitt 09-08-2006, 05:47 PM hahahahaha
Gunny 09-08-2006, 11:56 PM Offense - Brown (contract year), Troupe (should be a monster now) and Givens (prove the curse wrong)
Defense - The Chosen One (prove he is good enough), Pacman (take a step up), Thornton (defense acquisitons always seem to pay off)
The Mrs 09-09-2006, 02:55 AM Offense - Piller
Defense - Thompson
ST - Nickey
I spit on your post!
Defense is going to be Bulluck and Haynesworth. Notice that Thompson's name is in pink!
Offense - Matt Mauck. Don't let the fact that he was released fool you.
Defense - Peter Sirmon - Don't let the fact that Maurice Clarett stomps him in the 40 fool you
Special Teams - T-Rac
bigtitan53279 09-09-2006, 06:37 AM Notice that Thompson's name is in pink!
because he's a woman?
