I know Williams has some type of HC contingency clause in his skins contract. For anyone in the know, is there a possibility we could get Williams as HC if Fisher and Co are shown the door?

You might want to check out Mr Williams' Bills resume before bangin' on that door :hmm:

If you watched Washingtons D last night, everytime a ball was thrown to a reciever the Skins D put some serious hits on them. That's what we have lost with Schwartz, the will to hit anyone or make them pay.

You beat me to it.

I wouldn't mind having Williams back, who would? But not at the expense of Coach Fisher.

Yep it has to be on the coaching. If only Schwartz had got that HC job with the 49ers.

It ain't Fisher. It's the three-headed monster.. If Fish could have the type of say Marv Lewis has we'd probably have Cutler and god-knows what other differences on the field. Gregg Williams has had his shot and he failed. Remember Wash spends more $ than any other team so they can grab up any Defensive player they want...

Still got beat by a team they weren't supposed to. Doesn't matter by how much. What does a field goal have to do with it?

You're missing my point rcarie. I'm not talking about the score,
I'm talking about the Attitude their D plays with.
The same Attitude our D used to play with before the present coordinator took over.
They used to hit people with purpose and make them gun shy to even enter the middle.
Recievers knew if they caught a ball or not that they would have the lumber laid on them.

I don't recall recievers saying anythig about that.... I'll take your word for it. I guess my point is that his D isn't going to be that good this year. It's a talent issue. We all know Gregg can coach but he doesn't have much to work with. I would love to have him back but it ain't gonna happen. Everybody is sick of Schwartz but I'm tellin' ya' he'll go when Fisher goes and I don't see Fish giving him the axe anytime soon. If this team doesn't improve from what we saw on Sun you can bet that you won't be worrying about Schwartz next year.

bet hope, pretty sure it was Hope, gets lectured about that hit he put on Coles in the 4th. Definatly has not been Schwartzed yet. By December he will be trotting to the spot and touching his helment.

I bet Finnegian is running laps at this time for that clean shot he gave Pennington.
