Yep. Put a hell of a lot pressure on Bledsoe. Owens is out, so he's no worry. Bledsoe gets rookieness when the heat gets going, so we'll have to bring 5-6 guys on every snap.

I think this team of ours has taken a step, despite a loss yesterday. I see some things coming together. I myself have been very pessimistic the last month or so but I really feel like we are fixing to turn the corner. I'm tired of all the fire Fisher crap too. He is not the problem. We could very well be 2-1 right now, but you know what? We're not. I hope we all grow a collective pair and man up and quit all this whining bull **** because it's not going to help anyone feel better. I'm not fan of Kerry Colllins but by God if he is under center for the Titans I'm going to have a mouthful of cheer and a heartfull of hope for what lies ahead. It is only a matter of time before the table is set for our new KING #10... and once that table is set, watch out! He will run it. Just be patient people. Things are turning around. I know this.

Thanks for correcting Smash. Glenn on Hill certainly seems like a mismatch to me. I think if Owens plays he will just be a decoy, it's nice to have that player who will draw two defenders every play. That will also open things up for Witten to run down the middle of the field also. Could be a long day for the 29th ranked defense!

I think we can beat Dallas. If we put White in as the starter. Henry did well in the first half, but you could see the toe was bothering him in the second half. If he's not healthy, give the rook some carries. And we all know Bledsoe folds like a baby under pressure, so let's pressure him. And if we do, we need to keep our safeties back, cuz we can't let him heave one downfield under pressure and give up a big play when we have him in our grasp. Albert needs to play like yesterday, aka push the OL back like he did yesterday so Bledsoe has to scramble, which he's as good at as Ganther is in understanding if a guy is beat or not :grrr:

Don't get too excited about T.O. All it takes to stay off an injury report is to appear on a practice field. We all know how big Owens is on making it to practice.:winker:All he has to do is wrap that hand up and run some routes or whatever. He doesn't even need to catch a ball in practice. Remember Moss as a decoy? That didn't work, it never does. Unless he is a legitimate threat he's not going to draw anything extra. Now, since I backed you up and even fetched a link supporting your assertion that T.O. will not be out... (It is true, as of today is not listed on the injury report)... I want to ask you a favor. Be cool on the forum man. This team is having a rough time and the people on this board live on this board. Titans 10 - Cowboys 27

The Boys D will be too much of course. VY will get some playing time and maybe a score....or maybe Pac scores. Slight potential of 7 points is what I'm getting at lol.

Don't think it matters much if TO plays or not. The Titans should get some pressure on Drew, but I think JJ will have a pretty good day, and Drew will throw for some big yards while upright.

Those are my lame predictions anyway.

I know it's not nice to do, but I prey for injuries for the starting Cowboy-defense. Then we might even have a chance.

Besides that, I hope Collins continues his progression and don't makes a 0/5 or 1/6 start, as the last couple of games. I don't expect to see a running game with the close to non-existing O-line we've got right now.

Why? Because you control 1% of the Market in Texas and there are more Cowboy fans in Houston than Texan fans? Maybe its because the only team Texas deserves is the one in Dallas, that is why the Oilers left.

I can respect the Titans because as soon as they got away from Houston, they went to a Superbowl and performed Valiantly.

They may have passed on an overrated RB, but they gave the Titans a gift. Vince Young would have done so much for that franchise. How many times do you get a playmaking QB who's from your city, wants desperatly to play for them and do great things in Houston, and is the best player in the draft.

If you saw what Vince did to USC when the heisman was stolen from him, wait until you see what he does to the Texans this year, and every year. I've seen it for 5 years and this stuff fuels him. There's no way Bud Adams doesn't let him start that game.

Dude, you joined this site, like what? ten minutes ago... you don't know me for jack but I'll tell you this much... I'm a Vince Young guy. Sure, it took me a few back in late November/DEC to decide which position and with what player to go for in the draft. Of course I was unsure of which slot we would get. We lucked out with our SOS. First I thought Leinart was the answer, then I listened to SK and others go on about Cutler. Then after seeing only one UT game all year (I think it was OU) the Longhorns come along and completely dismantled Colorado in the Big 12 Conference Championship Game. That score was ridiculous. I was thinking, "my dear God...Vince Young is a heartattack waiting to happen." Of course I mean that in a good way.

Then the Rose Bowl completely solidified whatever I believed about him. I wanted him to be a Titan all out. That was all I cared about in the draft. I also thought about the many Houston aspects (I really am a fan of pouring salt in wounds) and the fact that he is the polar opposite of that choke artist in Indiana. Since then I have gladly welcomed all these Vince Young fans into the Titan fold. I love the fact that my team has it's original roots in Houston. It is a fine enough town, I have no personal quarrel with the area. I just really like it that there is chump team like the Texans in the division to show us what real pooch-screwing is. C'mon! Reggie Bush?

uhh... no thanks. I'm having a salad.
-Texans F.O.wtf? really? :bs:

My draft nightmare was if Reggie Bush would slip and he would be on the board at the same time Young was. That would really suck to pass on what we want to get Bush. I would have been okay with it. I would accepted drafting Bush on general principal. Hell, we may have been able to ink McNair for a longterm deal that we could really manage capwise. I knew that wouldn't happen. (tell me if any of you agree), but if that scenario would have shaken out, I think that the Titans would sell the spot for a pick, like a 5th or something, I don't know, but traded the spot for a pick and somehow hedged some bets to get Vince a few picks down.

If you saw what Vince did to USC when the heisman was stolen from him, wait until you see what he does to the Texans this year, and every year. I've seen it for 5 years and this stuff fuels him. There's no way Bud Adams doesn't let him start that game.
I really believe that. You sound like the others who have testified to Vince's power and glory. I've even seen Texans fans come in here, renounce their team and declare that for as long as Vince Young is a Tennessee Titans, they are a Tennessee Titan fan. I can understand that to an extent. I'm a pro team lifer guy myself but a guy like Vince Young only comes along so often. Vince Young will be bigger than George Bush before it is all over. Hell, George HW and George W put together. Vince Young is going to be the greatest quarterback ever to come out of the State of Texas.

(5 years?) I don't really care whether you are a Cowboys fan or Texans fan at this point so much as I care that you are a first hand testament to what Vince Young is all about. Sorry, I didn't mean to come off as if I was offended. I was just saying, you don't know anything about me, so this is how I relate... by sharing my Vince Young fandom, a point we have in common.

What did you think I was trying to do?

Defend my team?

Ya no problem sounds good. I'm glad to hear fans are excited about their guy. I'm usted to cowboy fans complaining about how our 1st round pick was inactive week one.

Ya I've been watching him for 5 years. I'm a huge UT fan, so I've been watching him since he came onto the Texas radar as a recruit. I would go down to Houston to watch some of his games, especially the playoff games. So from HS through his four years at Texas I've followed him.

SEC? Are you a vols fan?

I could on on for pages on Peyton Manning and being a Vol fan. I've written too much today as it is but I have alot to say on that. There are some crazy contrasts and comparisons between Young and Manning. Many. Yes, I am a fan of UT but with each NFL season I care for NCAA less and less. I can root for any SEC team against any other non-SEC team.* I am a weak UT fan. Back in the Heath Shuler days I was really into the Tennessee Vols. Now that Tennessee has a real team, a pro team... the Titans come first to me. I don't have any where near the heart invested in the Volunteers to call myself a die hard Vol any longer. I do watch them when I can. Sometimes I just take my kid to the playground instead.

*I also like Georgia Tech. I will never root for Georgia over Georgia Tech. I wouldn't root for any team over Georgia Tech, regardless if the were ACC, SEC, PAC 10, etc...

Cool. There are a few guys on the cowboys. The biggest is obviously Jason Witten, but Kevin Burnett is finally healthy and living up to his 2nd round grade.

Damarius Bilbo is on the practice squad and is playing Vince Young this week.

Look at David Carr's career stats, then Joey Harrington's career stats, and come back to me. David Carr sucks.

Oh, and Bledsoe's that much better? David Carr sucks is a bit harsh considering he's been running for his life half the plays since he's come into the league. I hate the Texans, but I ain't blinded by that hate either.

Two words for you: Tony Romo

The running for his life stuff is BS. He's running for his life because he sits back there and has a picnic. He has bledsoe disease where he gets happy feet and likes to sit back and wait. Had he not sat there for 4 seconds he wouldn't be hit. They have a bad line, sure, but him holding it forever doesn't help.

When David Carr wins more than 7 games, much less take his team to the superbowl, we'll talk. When Carr throws for more than 16 tds in a season (somthing Bledsoe has done 9 times.) or finishes a season with a passer rating higher than 83.5 (somthing Bledsoe has done 4 times) then we'll talk.

What does Tony Romo have to do with anything?
