Leinart is more NFL ready, but he's not ready to be great like some people think he will be. Look at Leinart's first year compared to Vince's. Leinart took his team to the rose bowl and was runner-up to the NC. (Yes, they didn't win a NC.) Then look 2 years later in the 2006 Rose Bowl and see who played better.

Leinart may be pretty good now, but Young will dominate this league down the road.

Well the other night Warner looked like he thought he was still playing with the Rams...

This will ease the decision on Vince Young somewhat. The Cardinals may have pulled the plug to early. They are the cardinals. It would take them a year or two to meet the expectations they have for that team. It takes some time to learn how to win.

Maybe they're under more pressure to keep the fans on side so they'll keep filling that shiny pink taco. :ha:

I was quite amazed on how Warner was able to throw uncatchable balls to Fitzgerald and Boldin. Those guys are just inzane.

News: Cardinals coach Dennis Green said in a statement that Kurt Warner, not rookie Matt Leinart, will be his starting QB for the time being. "Generally talking about the starting lineup is not something we do," said Green. "However, given the speculation that was out there we want to make it clear. We're disappointed after last week, but we still expect to be a playoff football team and we fully expect Kurt Warner to be the quarterback that leads us. That has not changed."

Analysis: Warner will start at Atlanta in Week 4, and that's not exactly the best matchup for him. Despite having a stellar offense around him, Warner has become a turnover machine (five interceptions, two lost fumbles). Use him as a starter in Fantasy leagues for now if you don't have a better option, but take steps to ensure that you are covered in case Warner does get benched.

On a side note, if we want a vet QB next year, and Warner is available, that's a better option than Collins.
