Ok predict what will happen..............Today Reynolds pled guilty..............so we know the NFL will suspend him at some point...............but what will Fish do cut him and elevate Toone of keep him after he gets suspended? If he does something then he must do something with Adam and eventually big Al................my bet is both get a pass...................and Al gets a new deal in Feb.

i hope big Al is let go...and Pac shapes up...i'm not convinced Pac did anything wrong in this last incident...

Fisher has said repeatedly that Al's punishment was "just". I doubt very seriously he gets any further punishment. As far as Pac is concerned, Fisher has to punish him.

There is already talk of a double standard with Reynolds and Pac. Personally I find what Reynolds did pretty tame, all things considered. His estranged wife must have also, since she wasn't interested in pressing charges. I have more trouble with Pac AGAIN being in trouble at a night club and leaving practice. Obviously Reynolds admitted what he did to Fisher, and he was promptly told to leave practice. A warrant is issued for Pac and Fisher wants to "get the facts first?" Some zero tolerance they have at BSP.

Pac's was another story blown way out of proportion. If if she did "get saliva on her face", it might just be because Pac slobbers alot. He could be a victim of his own saliva glands.

Come on folks....let's be realistic, here.

There's going to be a double standard. It doesn't have to be right, it doesn't have to be fair. Welcome to real life.

The team has a ton of cash tied up in Pacman, and his dual-threat presence on the field could easily be the difference between winning and losing a game. He is, for all intents and purposes, irreplaceable.

Reynolds is little more than a warm body....a decent ST guy who can play LB in a pinch, but that's about it.

Do you seriously believe they're going to receive equal treatment?

You know what I find funny, the contrasting differences between Pacman (rich, well known) and Reynolds (poor, backup, unknown) is pretty much the same as the justice system.

i hope that there is a double standard...
i dont want pac suspended... sorry to say it but true... maybe they can punish him by making him play a game or two unpaid.

if that would happen i just hope he plays as hard for free as he does paid

I don't see how you can see that a guy spitting on some girl and a guy hitting his wife can be judged the same. Whatever...

Maybe we can take steve martin's advice and solve overpopulation with death penalties for parking violations.

I agree Gunny. I too think that the punishment should be the same for all crimes. I mean, why lock up a murderer for more years than a simple thief?

what an interesting way to take what i said and make it completely the opposite of what I meant.

I haven't followed the case, but it seems that many nfl wives back down after the beating, which is what I find interesting. This whole idea that the woman is willing to do that. It either has to do with money, or they are used to getting beat up, or maybe they fear the unknown of being alone, I have no idea, but it seems common in the nfl. And I wonder if somewhere down the road they all don't get divorced like Warren Moon.

He never hit his wife. He pushed her down (whatever that means). It must have been tame because she didn't press charges. While it's not a pretty scenario, it does involve a divorce, and those things can get ugly fast.

I think you are not looking at the big picture. Not only did Pac spit on a girl, but he got out of practice because of the "flu".....I think that is the real problem here. He is making millions of dollars, and is accountable for his work ethic and his personal conduct too.

you know he was at the club the night BEFORE he was excused, right?

and are you aware that the doctors examined him and gave him the ok to leave, right? it's not like he walked of the field saying "me no feel good. pac go home now. wakka wakka wakka"

There are varying degrees of severity though. Some should garner more attention than others...

I'm not missing the big picture; I see a sitation blown out of proportion. He needs to be fined for missing practice over questionable circumstances, and face whatever charges come his way for "reportably" (this story sounds soooo incredibly flimmsy its not even funny FYI) spitting on a girl. I'm not one to put pushing your wife and spitting on some girl in the same category. Sorry.

no but if Pacman did spit on her, he should get a game just like LenDale got one for spitting in pre-season.

of course, but as I said above, if LenDale gets one game for spitting, precedent has been set.
