RyansTitans 10-31-2006, 03:05 PM Tennessee
Jacksonville -9
:grrhee: Ill take us and 9..
Im sure we can beat Jacksonville.. Just gotta watch out for that bowling ball Jones-Drew..
I still cant believe we were a few plays away from being 5-2 :suspect:
bigtitan53279 10-31-2006, 03:07 PM jacksonville spanks us. their point differential at home is like 74-17. they have 2 shut outs at home. jones-drew and taylor will combine for 200 yards.
that wont stop me from going to the game though!
SupDawg 10-31-2006, 03:46 PM I'll take us too. I think we lose, but we make it interesting.
Ewker 10-31-2006, 03:50 PM this is a toss up. It all depends on which Jags team shows up to play
Gunny 10-31-2006, 03:52 PM jacksonville spanks us. their point differential at home is like 74-17. they have 2 shut outs at home. jones-drew and taylor will combine for 200 yards.
that wont stop me from going to the game though!
then we only need to win 7 - 3
Blazing Arrow 10-31-2006, 04:30 PM The Jags are hurting right now. If Matt Jones is still hobbling I think we can take this one.
LazyManJackson 10-31-2006, 07:13 PM I'm predicting Titans lose 6-13, sorry...
paraconspiracy 10-31-2006, 07:54 PM 27-17 jags
bigtitan53279 10-31-2006, 07:56 PM it all depends on whether leftwich plays. if he plays and throw two incompletions in a row, he's going to get booed like no one else.
cdy_hitt 10-31-2006, 09:40 PM Alright someone explain the odds thing to me... Is -9 good?
Gunny 10-31-2006, 09:58 PM bascially if you put a bet on the Titans at +9 it means the game (in the betting world) starts with the Titans 9 Jags 0, so in order to win your bet Tennessee still have to either win or lose by at most 8 points.
IF you put a bet on the Jags at -9, it means the game starts with the Titans 0 Jags - 9 and to win that bet, the Jags need to win by atleast 10 points.
LT21Titans27 10-31-2006, 10:00 PM Titans beat houston, who beat the Jags
Titans beat the Skins, who beat the Jags
Therefore, the Titans should beat the Jags,
To bad it wasnt that simple

It is that simple :-). With Peterson and Stroud out, we actually might have a chance for getting the running game going. The passing game should also have a good chance for having a great day, with both their starting DEs out.
But, the question is whether or not we'll be able to stop their offense. Their WRs are way bigger than ours and with Pacman out?, they'll be having the best day of the season. Our hope is, that they'll start Leftwich and he'll still be struggling..
In short, it all depends on our defense.
Titanium 11-01-2006, 05:52 AM We're going to get killed in "Fisher Alltel Stadium"
I don't think we'll see the same Jag team that got crushed by the Texans. I don't think it will matter if Gerrard or Leftwich plays. The Jags are very inconsistent, but they will beat us on Sunday.
I have a feeling that Pac won't play and that will hurt us also.
I'll be happy to post about my crow dinner if we beat the Jags.
Titanium 11-01-2006, 05:55 AM On a side note, I didn't feel good about the Texan game either. I thought the Texans would beat us :scared:
:jagsbite:
Gunny 11-01-2006, 06:24 AM In short, it all depends on our defense.
and the Jags are laughing.
GoTitans3801 11-01-2006, 12:53 PM I think we'll play hard, most of the team should still be fuming from our last game of last season. However, I don't think we'll hold up.
Titans, 17, Jags, 24.
Smash 11-01-2006, 01:22 PM Woolfolk will start, Jones is out. We'll lose 42-10.
SupDawg 11-01-2006, 02:55 PM Yep, Stroud will be back as well.
arcticboy 11-01-2006, 04:47 PM Woolfolk will start, Jones is out. We'll lose 42-10.
Unfortunatly, I somewhat agree. That defense is stout, and with pacman out that will hurt because Woolfolk couldn't cover Louie Anderson.
I will say it is a bit closer though, 30-17. Just because Vince is showing me he is a do whatever it takes to win kind of leader, and I think the team is responding.
Blazing Arrow 11-01-2006, 04:59 PM You give way to much credit to the Jags WR core. M Jones has been hurt and Williams just flat out can not catch balls. Sadmitch has a bum anckle. There D has several key players not starting. We typically play the Jags pretty well (Last game does not count).
The Jags fan on there board are not taking this game lightly. They know we are coming off 3 good games 2 of which were wins. Jags are 0-2 in division and have allowed 48 point in those two games. They play tough at home but the stink of QB controversy is starting again. Really all they have right now is a running game. If we can limit it and force them to pass we can pull this out.
Titans 21 Jaguars 17
Young runs for another and Finn take his first pick to the house!
bigtitan53279 11-01-2006, 08:20 PM blazing,
i think you're underestimating the crappiness of woolfolk.
wplatham 11-01-2006, 08:33 PM I'm not worried about Woolfolk. It's Hill against Jones that scares me.
bigtitan53279 11-01-2006, 08:41 PM there is a reason hill starts over woolfolk. that's what scares me.
Hoffa 11-01-2006, 08:45 PM I'm not skeered of the Jags...
Titans win again this Sunday...
Hoffa 11-01-2006, 08:46 PM The freakin Houston Cows beat the Jags...
You wanna hear something surprising?
We all know that the Titans' passing game has hardly been their strong suit this year....Collins stunk, Vince is still learning, and the WR's are questionable.
But I didn't realize that, even with an established veteran QB and the league's biggest WR corps, the Jags' passing game is almost as bad as the Titans....only 169 yards per game to the Titans' 158, with both teams in the league's bottom ten.
A couple weeks ago, we finally saw Norm Chow dedicate himself to running the ball, with very solid results. This week, Schwartz needs to do the same....establish his run defense. Focus on stopping Taylor and Jones-Drew, and force the Jags rely on a passing game that has been inconsistent all year long.
