View Full Version : If Pacman is traded.....what/who do the Titans get?

Just for the sake of conversation, let's say that the Titans decide to part ways with Pacman.

I'm guessing Al Davis would be the most likely trade partner....he absolutely loves quality cornerbacks, and the Raiders have a long history of bringing in malconents and renegades. However, considering Pac's track record, I doubt Al is going to surrender a top 10 pick for him....and certainly not a top 5. However, a 2 and a 3 for a young, proven dual-threat performer seems more than fair. (Swapping 1's is also a possibility.)

Not too familiar with the Raiders' roster, but I'm not sure they have anyone of comparable trade value. Moss is a shadow of his former self, Gallery has failed to live up to expectations, and both have had injury issues. (Okay, I'd love to have Huff....but there absolutely no way that's gonna happen.)

Any other ideas?

If they traded him today, I'd guess a 2nd at the very best. His off field issues would keep his trade value down.

Robert Gallery will probably never become the all-world LT the Raiders were hoping for, but he would certainly be an attractive option for replacing Benji Olson.

I was thinking he'd had a lot of injury issues, but according to NFL.com, he's never missed a game in his career.

Gallery is horrible. There's no way he is worth PacMan.

Gallery needs a hair cut, maybe a flattop, I would make that part of the deal.:grrhee:

Raiders would give you a third rounder. Al Davis needs someone fast to get his newspaper. Pac Man Jones would have trouble making raider roster as they are incredible deep at the Cb position. Your best bet is try and trade him straight up for jets Justin Miller.

Trade deadline is up, and even if he was traded it would be on an evaluation of the rest of the games we have this season...

Most likely we'd have to trade him for a draft pick.

But if we traded him for a position player, we certainly could use one of these...

In Japan, you don't fire the guy, you just put him in an empty room till he quits. I say we just not let him play until he gets it together. He hasn't done anything utterly reprehensible just yet. Although he's on the fringe of doing so. Next time, 3 games.

If the Titans trade him, his contract goes with him. That said, I don't believe they'll trade him, release him, or let him sit. We missed him yesterday.

First, the Jets don't want Pacman. He doesn't fit into their player profile in several ways. They don't want him.

And I don't want Justin Miller who hasn't shown he can cover a paper bag.

If you're trading him to the Raiders, how about getting Moss back!

I'll take an atari 2600, COMBAT, PITFALL!, Haunted House, and H.E.R.O.

or a plug and play that can play all those...

that's about all it would take to come off my 23 year old copy of PACMAN.

Trade jeff fisher for a thug coach who can better communicate with pacman. Trade schwartz for a snoop dogg CD to run in the background while they communicate.

jk about jeff.. i can't see this team without him.
