View Full Version : Last 8 games
KptTitanFan 11-05-2006, 06:59 PM Is it me or does the last 8 games look very, very, very tough? We have the Ratbirds at home next week, then we go to Philly, host the G-men at home, play the dreadful Dolts at home(likely won't make a difference this time around), travel to Houston which will be a hyped up game for VY, take on the Jags at home, go up to Buffalo during the cold season, and play Brady and the Pats at home on New Years eve... I hate looking ahead after a loss like today, but it just doesn't look good for us showing how we've played so far. I expect us to atleast have a strong end of the season setting up for next year's improvement.
bigtitan53279 11-05-2006, 07:01 PM calvin johnson, here we come!
TitanKid4Life 11-05-2006, 07:08 PM aint that the truth
Sunshine 11-05-2006, 08:06 PM I think I read at the beginning of the season that we had the second or third toughest schedule this year. Our young'uns are getting a trial by fire.
ammotroop 11-05-2006, 08:32 PM We may lose a bunch, but they will learn a bunch and be tougher next year for it....(trying to think positive)....and CJ does look crazy good.
moose4now 11-05-2006, 08:37 PM I think I read at the beginning of the season that we had the second or third toughest schedule this year. Our young'uns are getting a trial by fire.
I think Chicago got our sked by mistake. And, we got theirs.
Yep....the hardest part is yet to come.
Four of the final eight opponents are leading their respective divisions.
Of the other four games, three are road games, including a trip to Philly.
The other game is a home game against the Jags, who absolutely dismantled the Titans today.
Tough stretch.
Riverman 11-05-2006, 11:55 PM Lucky to win one more. I think we're looking at 2-14.
Smash 11-06-2006, 04:27 AM We've still got the Bills, Texans again and a unstable Eagles team. Besides that, someone has to end The Dolts winning streak and who better than the Titans, home at LP.
Riverman 11-06-2006, 08:34 AM A quality win would go a long way- wait scratch that. Any win would go a long way.
Gunny 11-06-2006, 08:45 AM Win? what's a win?
skitch 11-06-2006, 08:55 AM I am optomistic (or crazy), but I see 2 or maybe 3 more wins.
-Texans
- Bills
- One surprise... someone we are NOT supposed to beat... Ravens, Eagles, etc...
Who knows, maybe the Pats will be locked into the playoffs and sit everyone.
PhiSlammaJamma 11-06-2006, 09:33 AM another top draft pick and watch out. The Titans are steamrolling to success.
TNThunder 11-06-2006, 09:43 AM another top draft pick and watch out. The Titans are steamrolling to success.
There are a lot of teams at 2-6, we have to be careful.
RollTide 11-06-2006, 11:05 AM Let's be a terrible team for the nest 10 seasons. That's 10 high draft picks!
We will be awesome by then!
The best teams in the league have not drafted in the top 10 for many years. Drafting high doesn't make you good solid management and coaching does. What good does it do to draft high when the guys making the pick are clueless?
Colts last top 10 draft--- 2000
Broncos last top 10 draft--1991
Pats last top 10 draft pick--2001
Simply drafting high doesn't mean a thing.
Who knows, maybe the Pats will be locked into the playoffs and sit everyone.
Bradys' backup will probably end up with 4 TDs, so I wouldn't count on it.
KptTitanFan 11-14-2007, 12:26 AM Well this is from last season, do we feel the same way about this season?? Take a look from the start of the thread.
He's the final seven games of the 2007 season.
at Denver MFN
at Cincy
home vs Houston
home vs San Diego
at Kansas City
home vs Jets
and at Indy
so tell how do you feel this season...? i sure as hell feel alot more optomistic about this season than the last when we all didn't expect it.
What I'm trying to say I guess is.... LOOK we are doing better quit fussing, and show some hope. Vince has done it before what's to say that he can't do it again.
KptTitanFan 11-14-2007, 12:39 AM and note this was after a 37-7 beat down from the jags last season... i believe it was alot worse than last Sunday. And then all the Fire Fisher threads loomed the board instead of how crappy Vince played.
Fire Schwartz!
