with 8 games left to play the horse race for the #1 pick is on.

they say it's lonely at the top.
looks as if it's crowded at the bottom.

How would you feel if the opposite happens...
I mean from last years draft order... strenth of schedule....

How would you feel about having the 13th pick in the draft when so many teams are so bad?

Arizona Cardinals (1-7)
Buffalo Bills (3-5)
Cleveland Browns (2-6)
Detroit Lions (2-6)
Green Bay Packers (3-5)
Houston Texans (2-6)
Miami Dolphins (2-6)
Oakland Raiders (2-6)
Pittsburgh Steelers (2-6)
San Francisco 49ers (3-5)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-6)
Tennessee Titans (2-6)
Washington Redskins (3-5)

I think it'll end up:

1. Cardinals- OT Joe Thomas
2. Raiders- RB Adrian Peterson
3. Browns- DE Gaines Adams
4. Lions- QB Brady Quinn
5. Texans- S Laron Landry
6. Bills- QB Brian Brohm
7. Titans- WR Calvin Johnson
8. 49ers- WR Ted Ginn
9. Packers- RB Marshawn Lynch
10. Dolphins- LB Paul Posluszny
11. Steelers- WR Dwayne Jarrett
12. Bucs- OL Jake Long
13. Vikings- WR Sidney Rice
14. Redskins- DE Quinten Moses
15. Jets- RB Kenny Irons

No Troy Smith? And how is CJ gonna last to 7? I don't see Landry going ahead of CJ nor in the top 5 for that matter. And why would the Bills draft Brohm investing yet ANOTHER high pick and a ton of money on a young QB? Unless CJ runs a sub-par 40, he probably shouldn't fall out of the top 5.

I don't agree with where those teams are placed, skins at #14, with Portis out and a new QB, not to mention they're playing poorly, and Landry won't be picked before CJ, I think he is slightly overated...

In his defense, he posted that before Portis' injury. Not that that makes putting the Skins at 14 any better.

CJ went at 7 because he wants CJ

if you go strictly by need, it is possible for him to fall to 7.

1.Cardinals two all pro WRs
2. Raiders moss and porter, although one or both can be gone. CJ isnt the track guy al davis covets though.
3. Browns braylon edwards and kellen winslow taken in the first round two out of three years
4. Lions 3 WRs in four years would not go over well
5. Texans andre johnson is as good as they come, moulds is a good number 2
6. Bills lee evans was a first round pick three years ago and finally has someone to throw him the ball. the cupboard is bare behind him though.

I wouldn't count out Oakland (depends on Moss/Porter and the rest), Browns, and Buffalo.

i could see the raiders taking ginn jr over cj. you know how al davis loves his fast guys.

I see us taking a DE with our first pick. We just signed Givens, and are loaded with WR's.

No it does not. We have to adress the WR situtation sometime.

I doubt we'll go WR with our first round pick. You can find decent WR in lower rounds, and we've been doing that. We've got several young WR that can grow with Vince. We desperately need a DE to play opposite KVB, I'd rather fill that hole than pick a WR in round 1.

Well, we're better off at WR now than at DE. Especially with these injuries, we need someone who can come in and start. If that comes from free agency, so be it, but if we haven't filled the hole, it's a much more pressing need come draft time.

Troy Smith may not even be a 2nd rounder, I disagree with that because he has led his 12-0 Ohio St. team and will win Heisman but Kiper, myself, and most draft analyst strongly doubt he will go in the 1st round...

thats exactly what I was thinking, out of those teams the only team that may seriously want CJ are the Bills and if the Raiders get tired of their guys maybe them...
