Looking at the PC awards, they nailed the Racing game and RPG, but of course they were also landslide victories.
How Oblivion didn't win "Best Graphics Technology" is beyond me, apparently "Best Graphics Technology" means something different to them than it does to me.
I also thought Oblivion or Hitman: Blood Money had a very strong case for Best Score, although I haven't heard Gothic III's score.

I found it suspicious that EA FIFA 07 wins sports and Madden 07 is listed as runner up.... haven't played FIFA, but Madden isn't particularly good (but of course there's no competition).

I don't understand why biggest surprise was the restructuring of E3... aren't these guys supposed to follow the industry? In which case they should have known that everybody (except maybe certain marketing folks) felt that E3 had become too big and too much fluff.

Relic as best developer? ehh... well I guess I don't immediately have anyone else at hand, though I predict Bioware for next year if they decide to port Mass Effect to the PC.

Oh and Game of the Year should have been Oblivion, not Company of Heroes.

I think Xbox 360 is oblivion.

I am really not into RPG's, but damn, Mass Effect is just looking amazing.
