This is one of the better games I have played in a while. It reminds me of Oblivion in that it's graphics are beautiful, you are free to roam and do whatever you want in the game, also your skills level up as you use them instead of leveling up every thing (right now I am level 1 with automobile, 2 with guns & strength, and level 3 agility). It is a lot like GTA & a platformer mixed. Last night I spent the whole night jumping around rooftops looking for agility spheres. What I have yet been unable to do is cooperative play, so i can't judge it yet.
All this and an invite to play Halo 3 beta when released online (will only be accessible through the Crackdown disk).

i have it rented, and it's just kind of frustrating so far. Hard to tell what exactly you're supposed to be doing, and when you get close to a boss you're surrounded by 3,000 gang members from all angles and heights.
I'm going to give it another shot before sending it back. I keep having people try to join my game, but as of now I'm just wondering around like I've got no clue so i wont let them join. haha

It's really boring now. I've got one gang left to beat, and then i'll send it back. It's sort of fun getting the achievements but other than that, eh. Just a rental I guess. Not a bad game, just not a great game.

The only reason I'd consider is because of the halo 3 beta.
I wonder how many copies it sold just for that

I wonder how many copies it sold just for that
I was thinking that myself.

There is leaked footage of halo 3 on youtube but it is the poorest quality ever.

I've had the most fun playing Crackdown with my co-worker online. It's the most fun and hopefully Grand Theft Auto is the same way.
