Yesterday Bongo started this year's version. It's already thirty pages long. Why? Where would he play? You're giving up a 2nd for a guy who's likely to sit on the bench or let, or if he plays will make either Thornton or Bulluck sit on the bench. Sure he's a nice player to have, but at that cost he's not better than what we have.

Clev started at 21 we went to 22 and at 4AM Clemments was offered 23 and 80 mil..........Clev and TN backed out and SF sent a plane.

and I dont post that stuff here becaus eit gets no play when you bury it here............it has to be on the front page and get traffic.............that is why I did my Mobile and Indy profile elsewhere............plus they kept my name off of it which was solid.

with that kind of speed on the field at LB we could get away with playing three linebackers. it would also help us when teams try to spread us out and run the ball.

DD.com Comment: Well, it looks like our league source jumped the gun a bit yesterday, saying Garcia would sign with the Raiders. As the link above shows, Garcia had basically agreed to play for the Raiders, but things seemed to break down when it was reported Jake Plummer didn't want to play in Tampa.

As far as our source, he's done a great job throwing out some rumors floating around league. He reported Nate Clements' exact signing bonus to the dollar two days before he signed, told us Bucs linebacker Shelton Quarles would likely miss the upcoming season (and perhaps be forced to retire) before the Florida media put it in print and informed us Tennessee would cut Travis Henry. He also predicted some other things right. However, some of his predictions where off, but that happens in sports where players and agents change their minds minute to minute.
