Who would you prefer, Randy Moss, or Dante Stallworth?
i would personally prefer Stallworth, he keeps his mouth shut, yet both have had some kinda of injury problems in the past.

please post your thoughts and opinions

Moss can only run straight down the sideline. He can help coach! Stallworth...IMO

Stallworth. Less trouble from him and younger.

You guys sure over rate Stallworth. I mean what has Stallworth really done that makes him such a stud?

By the way why don't some of you look up Stallworth's career stats and then come back and argue why he is so good.

over the last three years:

moss; 2325 yards, 151 catches 24 tds

stallworth; 2437 yards, 166 catches, 17 tds

i'd take stallworth. you know he's going to give it everything every game. moss is getting up there in age and losing his best asset, his speed.

Ok, Moss had no QB throwing to him you can't compare those stats. And Oakland had no o-line for the qb to have time to throw. Moss is still the man, Stallworth is garbage, he has never done anything.

exactly. to the person who put the link up with donte's carrer stats.. look how many of thoes rec's were for 20 plus yards last season. then look at how many total recs he had
He will easily get 1k or more in our offence.

38 Recs
14 for 20+
4 for 40+
30 1st downs..

thats just sick. imagine if he played the FULL SEASON.

We need to get this guy now

The saints also had a good o-line, with LeCharles Bentley anchoring it. Oakland had no o-line. I don't care if Peyton Manning or Tom Brady was the QB, they wouldn't have done anything.

Lmfao. People seriously have no clue about football if they think Stallworth is a better fit than Randy Moss even now. In his prime, it's not a question. Now it's not a question.

you have to look at the whole picture.

it doesnt seem like moss cares about football anymore, he has lost his world class speed, and is on the downside of his career. how long would he be here? maybe two years.

stallworth is 26, still has his speed and is actually getting better if you go by game averages.

Oakland is a grave yard for players though.

Stats aside, I think Moss is the more athletic player. With Moss' concern about his itch for the game, I'd probably go with Stallworth who is also a hometown player. Although I'd love to have some height here in TN at WR which we really haven't seen.

IMO a guy like Moss, in the right system where he wants to play and have fun again could be a special player, again. The only reason teams are not jumping all over the Raiders trying to get Moss is his contract. If Moss really wanted to come here I'd definately consider him. Stallworth is to me a guy who has basically been a disappointment his whole career. He has never had a 1000 yards season, seems to get nicked alot and although he is a deep threat he doesn't seem to be Mr. reliable any more than Drew Bennett was. Also fans get excited when they see Stallworth's average per catch last year but for his career he isn't any better than a guy like Bennett. We also have reports he is in the substance abuse program which I'm sure will go over real well on the team right now. Keep in mind that the Saints basically gave Stallworth away for nothing. A former 13th pick in the draft for a 4th rounder and Mark Simoneau? That tells me that NO didn't see alot of greatness in the guy IMO.
