According to some column on NFL.com, the hot (but we should probably still consider this unlikely to come true) rumor is Culpepper to the Raiders, where he can teach JaMarcus Russell and once again pass the ball to Moss.

Culpepper's not at a stage in his career where he wants to teach anyone, kinda like McNair last year, Culpepper still wants to be a starter for a while and someone will give him the opportunity.

Of course he still wants to be a starter. The guy was probably the second best QB in the NFL behind Manning before his injury. He just needs a new team and a fresh start. Miami isent the way to go.

yeah, my point was that he's not going to want to go to Oakland to train Russell to take over in a year or two, he's going to want to start somewhere for a while (maybe Detriot? pure speculation, but they need a QB)

If he is still recovering from that injury, why would he go to Oakland who has a god awful offensive line. We saw last season what happened to him when he was under pressure. If he doesn't have the mobility that he used to have, he better find a team with at least an adequate offensive line.
