Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that the Denver Broncos could be trading linebacker Al Wilson (http://www.nfl.com/nflnetwork/story/10080863) to the Giants in the near future, possibly as soon as this weekend.

Wilson is scheduled to earn $5.2 million in salary and $600,000 in roster bonuses in 2007. He is under contract through 2010.

If the trade happens, D.J. Williams could be moved from the strong side to the middle.

Per Schefter, the Broncos have also talked to the Lions and the Eagles about trading for Wilson.

Al failed his physical, so chances of a trade are now slim

well maybe we'll sign in if MR can fit in into the "plan" of course that would mean getting rid of fowler somehow.....

Fowler is on this roster for a reason, whether its Special Teams or to play at MLB... so we can have room for another LB...
