i cant believe this that hester is going to be 100 overall speed in madden. the first player ever to have a 100 overall rating in any categories

It's just another case of EA completely overestimating people's ratings. Remember in 2004 when NO ONE could stop Michael Vick? I hope that crap doesn't happen with Hester.

Eh. It makes the game fun. Remember LT and Singletary in the first tecmo bowl. It was fun discovering would would dominate. I'd almost rather not know who was good to tell you the truth. All I know is when super tecmo bowl came out gpa's must have taken a dip nation wide. I didn't play madden this year cause nobody said it was all that good. But I hope the next iteration is worth buying.

I'm sure someone was was puffing on a joint when he thought of that as a marketing ploy. Hester is fast but i'm sure there are players who are faster and probably won't get his speed... They better fix that quick or they're scewed...

Once i get my hands on the ps version i'm going to edit him into a TE and snatch him by trading the bears a 7th round draft pick and turn him back into his original position after hitting him with a 7 year $7 mil contract... :evil:

Thats the best way to get players who are rated 90 or above. Too bad I cant do it in the PS3 version...

I hope this 100 speed isent exclusive to only Hester... You better be able to make a players stat 100 now.

There should be alot of 100's in this game if anyone can get them.

For example

LT- Awareness - 100
Manning- Accuracy - 100
Pacman - Agility - 100
Larry Johnson - Breaking Tackles - 100

I don't see why giving his stats an extra +1 is going to make a difference. Now, a 100 in ACC and AGL as well as in SPD would be crazy...

99 Breaking Tackles is not all that great in the game. It helps but it is not like you are unstoppable. LW has been that in my franchise for a while. He is a big hitter and can def get through guys but gets stopped on the line from time to time and does not usually break one over 20 yards.

I remember playing against Jamal Lewis when EA thought he was any good and he was hard to stop.

The last time my cousin was in town before he deployed, we played a couple of games of Madden, both times he was the Titans and I was the Chargers. Without fail, he threw the ball to Drew Bennett every play, and he would catch it every single time, even when I put three guys on him. It was ridiculous. I think Drew ended up with over 400 yards and 7 td's.

You need to shift yoru secondary or stick him at the line with a drop zone coverage. Usually sets up a INT because the player gets use to seeing certain covrages. Playing man on every down does not work unless you are controlling the cover guy.

Yeah I shifted my secondary after the first quarter. I had a better success rate, but Bennett was still make unbelievable catches.

Thats why I love Bennett in Madden. Online I beast with him. I cant be stopped. I go deep and bam. Right over the corners head 30 + yards every time..

Few people stop it.

But you had the chargers. Antonio Gates and Randy Moss are about the hardest players to stop on Madden this year.

Yeah, I won the game. Pretty handidly, but it was still ridiculous the catches that Bennett was making. LT owned the Titans run defense.
