DCtitan49 06-05-2007, 05:54 PM Cavs or Spurs, take your pick, im flip-flopping a little, a part of me thinks the NBA is a conspiracy and they want the ratings to go through the roofs, so they will give lebron an epic title. the other side is living in reality and knows the spurs are way better then the cavs.
Gunny 06-05-2007, 08:24 PM Spurs in 5.
RyansTitans 06-05-2007, 11:10 PM Cavs - 6
A simple Cavs or Spurs answer would of been easier tho
PhiSlammaJamma 06-05-2007, 11:35 PM Spurs in 7. Lebron has come of age.
Snookus 06-06-2007, 03:55 AM No matter what, it will be decided in game 7 in my opinion. Cavs will take it in an epic showing that will put the NBA back on the map. LeBron James will single handedly save basketball and feed starving pygmy children in Uganda. Then he will discover a treatment for canker sores and right a book. All by the age of 23.
bigtitan53279 06-06-2007, 07:40 PM as much as i would like the cavs to win, they just dont have the inside presence on defense.
spurs in 6
DCtitan49 06-08-2007, 11:52 AM cavs in 6 still for me, i predicted they would loose game 1 and then win the next 2 if i remember correctly.
The Gloat 06-08-2007, 10:08 PM Spurs in 5. And I honestly don't even know why I'm giving the Cavs a single win. I guess just in case.
This should be about as easy as a series can get for the Spurs. Lebron will probably do close to nothing, especially when it counts (i know he had that ONE game where he was on fire and scored 58 in 50 minutes to beat the Pistons) and Tony Parker is waaaay too fast for the Cavs guards. All he has to do is blow by them and take his pick - dish to a 3 shooter, dump to Timmy, or just lay it in by whoever the slow unathletic big man the Cavs have in at the moment.
Drew Gooden kept last night's game from being a 30 point blow-out. That says a lot.
PAtitansfan53 06-09-2007, 01:04 PM Cavs in 7.
Turns out to be one of the best series ever and Cav's do the impossible.
(LeBron pulls a Jordan esque type shot and wins it)
DCtitan49 06-10-2007, 02:03 PM hahahaha^^^ your kiddding right?
The Gloat 06-10-2007, 06:01 PM I hope so. Lebron = Peyton Manning of the NBA when it comes to clutch. Don't expect a game winner unless it's a lay-up. Well, nevermind. He can't even get those when the game's on the line.

DCtitan49 06-10-2007, 10:04 PM 20pt spurs lead...... gonna be a long ride back to cleveland....
The Gloat 06-10-2007, 11:27 PM Gibson has been the best Cav on the foor the last 2 games other than Gooden. Lebron is still garbage and can't ever score unless he's driving for a layup, and still misses plenty of those.
Greg Popavich should be fired for even allowing his 3rd stringers to play long enough to give the Cavs confidence. An ego will ruin you real quick.
DCtitan49 06-12-2007, 10:25 PM Lebron isnt garbage, but hes not god....
rcarie 06-13-2007, 12:37 PM Lebron is only 22 years old! He'll start making those shots eventually, just not this year... How old was Jordan when he started winning games in the NBA... It took him several years. I'm really kind of sick of the comparison though... You can't really judge a guy till he's done. Then you can say if he's as good as this guy or that guy.
The Gloat 06-13-2007, 03:28 PM Never. EVER compare a player like Lebron to Jordan. Compare him to Paul Peirce if you want, but Jordan? No. Lebron isn't a Kobe or even T-Mac when it comes to offensive skill. He just doesn't have "it". He admits it too though, wishing he had the killer instinct that Kobe has.
Problem is, LeBron doesn't even try to do anything but layups. He'll shoot a few 3's here and there and miss, but usually it's either a layup, freethrow, or no points. Jordan wasn't dependant on layups anytime in his career.
I love watching the guy fail, only because ESPN hyped him so much while many knew he didn't have it. He's athletic. That's it. He's what Vince Carter should've been, I'll give him that. But if he hasn't developed a
jumper yet, and if he can't hit a three pointer yet, odds are, he's never going to be great at either.
Then when you factor in that he's a choke artist. You can't fix that. I don't care how much you practice, clutch ability isn't something that can be taught.
I can't wait here in a couple years when the next jordan knocks his name off the list. He's already much better than Lebron was in highschool, and this kid can hit jumpers, 3's, dribbles better, dunks better, faster, etc. And lucky me, he's going to be a Memphis Tiger. :))
The Gloat 06-13-2007, 06:25 PM man, i re-read my stuff and I'm a DB on the internet. No wonder you guys hate me. I exaggerate all my opinions. haha
DCtitan49 06-13-2007, 08:21 PM but your right, he is a choke artist...
The Gloat 06-13-2007, 11:12 PM yeah, but I make it out like he's horrible and he's not. I still stand by thinking he wont be great because he can't just feed off layups his entire career, but he's good at driving and using his athleticism.
I think the only 2 shots lebron has made in this series that werent freethrows or layups was the 2 threes in game one at the end. That's pretty bad.
Gunny 06-14-2007, 05:19 AM yeah, but I make it out like he's horrible
It actually does sound like that.
