Looks to be deep, and fronloaded. Should be a lot of fun through the whole first round. Durant lost some ground when he couldn't bench press 185 even once. Here is what nba draft.net predicts:

I don't see Conley falling to 11. I really like his game, he's just so freaking quick nobody can stay in front of him. I'm almost to the point of RyansTitans-Ted Ginn with Mike Conley.

RyansTitans

I want Cleveland to trade to try and get Conley.

But as ive said before with the sudden rush of the one called Boobie im less worried about us not getting a good scoring pointguard.

Your nuts if you think Daniel Gibson solves your PG problems.

RyansTitans
06-18-2007, 04:51 PM
Never said that. If you could read I said it makes me less worried.

We will no doubt fix the problems we have. If us making the Finals + LeBron doesn't attract some good players then idk what will.

Chauncy Billups , Jason Kidd , Vinsanity , Bibby..

I guarantee you one of them above will be a Cav

I'd say Miami is a more attractive place right now in the East. Not saying you won't sign any of those above mentioned players, but if I had a choice, I'm going to the warm weather with Dwayne & Shaq.

ill take that bet, Billups will still be a piston, Kidd will still be a net, Vince i have no idea, why would you want bibby anyways? hes baisically just another Shooting guard attempting to play Point, like larry hughes, Gibson is definatly not the solution at point guard, at least not yet, i think he could develop into a great PG if he bulks up, and learns how to create his own shot instead of being a spot up shooter like the rest of his team.

Drew Gooden maybe coming to Chicago.

They say the Cavs have cap issues.

The Cavs have salary-cap issues and might be unable to re-sign Anderson Varejao and Sasha Pavlovic, two of their top six players. Don't be surprised to see them offering Drew Gooden , and he could end up with the Bulls, reuniting with college teammate Kirk Hinrich. Gooden, not Nick Collison, is the fellow former Kansas player more likely to join Hinrich. The Heat's lack of youth and athleticism has been exposed, and the Pistons clearly are in some form of transition, with general manager Joe Dumars saying he would address the apparent complacency of their players.

Haha... the Kings hired Coach Bill Fuller from Hangtime. Seriously, Reggie Theus was the best choice? He was the coach for New Mexico State for two years! For God's sake, he's only five years removed from being the color analyst for slamball! And you hired him to run your basketball team? Do us all a favor Maloofs, and stick to running casinos.

Drew Gooden will never be more then a Average PF, as long as Mike Brown is his coach, and as long as God knows being Gay is a sin....

There was a sequence of plays for Drew Gooden in game 4 that summed up his play to me. It was so obvious that even Marc Jackson pointed it out when it happened.

He first took a horrible shot on offense, one he should never take, and then after that he got back on defense, and proceeded, in the biggest game of his life, to just leave Tim Duncan wide open. I mean he literally just watched as Duncan was like 10 feet away totally unguarded. Duncan gets the ball, drives the lane, and Gooden wussy fouls him, and Duncan gets a three point play. It was like he didn't even care. It was that pathetic. I'm not kidding. I actually liked Gooden until that series of events, because I saw a player at that point who just didn't care. I mean how do you not guard Tim Duncan in game 4 of the finals.

I just heard Greg Oden talk for the first time on ESPN, and he seems alive to me. Not as quiet as I once thought. I think his personality is worth the top pick just based on that interview. That was the biggest concern I had. But he's aw-right.

PhiSlammaJamma
06-29-2007, 12:52 AM
Rockets Draft was relatively uneventful

Aaron Brooks - Oregon - Super fast pg
Brad Newley - Austrailia - sg - ????? Sounds like a shooter.

But that has to signal a trade for a PF or a signing.

DCtitan49
06-29-2007, 01:13 AM
Wizards might have gotten a steal, but they didnt contribute to the team in anyway, Haywood is still on the team (a bum), Etan Thomas is still on the team (another bum) we drafted a SG, who will get next to no playing time, then we draft a unknown SF from Fresno State in the 2nd round who will get NO playing time. 1st round i think you have to trade up for Thadeus Young, and fill in a roster spot that is actually a need. second round go for a SG/SF, another horrible draft by the wizards in my opinion.

DCtitan49
06-29-2007, 01:17 AM
lots of trades went down,

cant beleive Jason Richardson isnt a Warrior anymore.

Seattle by far had the best draft.

Seattle Draft Picks:
Kevin Durant (2nd Overall)
Jeff Green (5th Overall)-from Boston
Glen Davis (35th Overall)

Seattle Aquires:
Wally Szczerbiak
Delonte West

essentially they got all that just for Ray Allen, who is washed up and done in this league anyways......

Holy ... freaking ... crap..

I was bored so I was typing in all the Cavs bench players in youtube just too see if there was any plays or highlight vids and I found one that kinda confuses me.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=lFLJiXfX9qc

All I can say is MIKE FREAKING BROWN WHY IN GODS NAME ARE YOU NOT GIVING THIS KID PLAYING TIME.

He was our first round pick in 06 and I just thought he wasn't good enough to make the starting 5. But I find that vid on youtube and now Im wondering wtf is wrong with him why he cant get playing time. He freaking looks like a bigger stronger Allen Iverson.

Please god get some playing time next season

1- all those highlights were from college, the NBA, and NCAA arent the same thing last time i checked. JJ Redick was Player of the Year in college, now he has trouble scoring a basket.

2- its a HIGHLIGHT REEL, everyone looks good in a highlight reel.

3-he wasnt even that good in college.

him, Maurice Ager, Davis, its not like he was attracting double teams...

NBa and college are two different things.

RyansTitans
07-02-2007, 07:28 PM
You guys keep saying that. Everyone knows College and NBA are 2 different things. Shannon got drafted last year. He was a rookie all of last year he hardly had any playing time at all. And when he did have some playing time he was a beast. All im saying is Mike Brown is a retard for starting Gibson first before giving Shannon a chance.

He should get alot of time next season tho. No one that good in college should sit on the bench his whole career.

bulluck4dMVP

IMO Ager was the better of the 2 @ MSU, but granted both are very solid players.

DCtitan49
07-02-2007, 10:57 PM
no question Ager was the best player at MSU at the time, he had high expectations going into the draft, i wanted the wizards to draft him, but he never really did live up to anything he was supposed to be in the NBA, or hasnt yet, i think he is like a reserve on the Mavericks or deep in there bench.

sometimes i wonder if you know anything about basketball, or sports in general.....

No one that good in college should sit on the bench his whole career.

dude, he wasnt like Kevin Durant in college, he was decent, but he had Mo Ager and Davis on that team with him, Maurice Ager was the superstar and Brown was more under his shadow. Mike Brown is a retard but Gibson is way better then Shannon Brown.

RyansTitans
07-06-2007, 08:49 AM
Gibson is better now yes because he got a shot and shined in his role.

And.. I figured out why Brown didn't get alot of time. I guess he got hurt sometime during the season and wasn't at 100% all season.

He should and WILL get playing time next season.

Gibson > Brown... for now..

Potential wise.

Brown > Gibson

but that dosn't really matter because Brown is a shooting guard and Boobie is a point guard.

So.... what does that mean. Bye Bye Larry Hughes. Well.. Pavs would be the better player of the 3 so idk. Maybe Brown wont be a starter.

His defensive gameplans are just fine, but on the offensive side it just looks like the team has no clue. Whether that has to do with basically no offensive threat besides LeBron or just his not so bright coaching, who knows.

PhiSlammaJamma
07-06-2007, 12:38 PM
They went to the finals. I think it's on the players now. They either get better or they don't. There's no need to change anything. Only get better. If they had fallen short of the finals, I understand making a change, but don't fix what aint broken. They were worthy of the finals. They beat the Pistons with their offense. That says a lot. They played to the two best defensive teams in the league, I think it's ok to look average to bad in that situation.
