I know 360 owners thinkin' this is old news (and it is), but my fellow PS3 owners better go do themselves a favor and go drop 60 on this game. It's easily the most fun game on PS3 that's been released (better than the overrated Resistance; yeah, I said it!). Go get it kids.

Yikes. A lot of people like RBSV, but it bored the crap out of me and I traded it in after it sat on my shelf for too long. Just seemed generic for some reason.

I think more FPS (including Halo and even Gears Of War) are generic as hell. The one feature that Gears does have (the cover feature), RBV does even better. To each their own, but this is by far the most tactical FPS out.

Yeah. I don't like games where you let your computer AI kill almost all the enemies. I want to be in the action, not send robots to do it for me.

I find the games like Rainbow Six you need a lot of patient as it is more like a simulation rather than a guns blazing FPS.

WHich is why I find games like Resistance and Gears Of War kinda dull. I'm playing Rainbow Six in Realistic Mode right now, and its real real intense...

Crash, I cant comment on Six, but Gears is SICK. It does take skill. Probably not quite as much as Six, but you try and shoot the tourqe bow at some one without any practice. I have considered getting six, but I hated Ghost recon so I dont know if I would like it.

There's no difference between the skill needed for RBS than Gears. They're both point and shoot. But in Gears you don't get to carry around a little shield.

Point and shoot huh.....if you say so....You have to aim, time it, move while shooting ect. And the weapon variety is awsome too. Boom (grenade launcher, Tourqe bow(high powered explosive arrow), Sniper, Hammer of Dawn(calls lighting down from satelite) Grenades( can tag people or toss them), Hand gun, Lancer (with a chainsaw on it that you can saw people off with), 6 shooter, and my favorite Shotgun. All of these weapons are different and shoot different and take different types of skill. I suck with the Bow, but am decent with sniper. For people to say that this game takes no skill should get online and try to win a match.

I play gears daily still, so calm down. It's still point and shoot. Of course there's a bit more to it than that, but that's the basic strategy.
I'm only good with the Torque Bow. I can't use that sniper for anything other than easy downs with active reload.

I am pretty calm....most of the time I think. I hate the torque bow.....
