View Full Version : Grant Hill to Phoenix, Rashard Lewis to Orlando
DCtitan49 07-06-2007, 03:50 PM top 2 free agent signings yet, i doubt much more then this will happen, Carter is gonna stay in NJ, i cant see Billups leaving Detroit, Kobe will be a Laker in 08, KG its hard to tell, no major trades will take place if the KG deal doesnt ever happen.
Gunny 07-06-2007, 10:00 PM Nocioni resigned with the Bulls.
BigRed3 07-06-2007, 10:01 PM Nocioni resigned with the Bulls.
There's been rumors of him being traded. Do you think that the Bulls gave him a deal for the purposes of a sign-and-trade?
Gunny 07-06-2007, 10:12 PM Unlikely, though I wouldn't mind it for Gasol.
BigRed3 07-06-2007, 10:13 PM That would definitely solve their lack of an offensive post presence
Gunny 07-06-2007, 11:28 PM That would definitely solve their lack of an offensive post presence
Apparently a problem they don't want to solve (drafting Aldridge and then trading for Thomas and then drafting Noah)
Crash Override 07-07-2007, 01:06 AM lewis and howard shoudl make a great inside-outside combo.
RyansTitans 07-07-2007, 05:06 AM So yeah I got some info a little while ago from a reliable source that says were about to trade Larry Choke and Donyell for Navarro (JCN) & Andray Blatche.
Also. Andy to Memphis is almost a done deal
DCtitan49 07-07-2007, 04:20 PM Larry Hughes a Wizards again????
that would actually make me pretty happy, ever since he left washington he has been a bust, picture this wizards fans
Gilbert Arenas
Larry Hughes
Caron Butler
Antawn Jamison
Oleksiy Pecherov (Rookie)
Pecherov i think hes like 7 foot, he played in europe last year after he was drafted, and just got signed as a rookie this year, gonna be interesting to see how he comes from a europe league that he essentially dominated at, to an nba league where he will be considered a kid.
then our bench would be even more sick.
Antonio Daniels (most underrated bench player in NBA)
DeShawn Stevenson (Starter Last Season)
Jarvis Hayes (if he stays, 3 pt threat)
Darius Songalia (automatic jumpshot)
Nick Young (Rookie, Shows Promise)
Calvin Booth (unfortunatly)
Michael Ruffin (again, unfortunatly)
thats a pretty good looking squad.....
championship???
BigRed3 07-07-2007, 06:02 PM championship???
No...
DCtitan49 07-07-2007, 08:14 PM lol, big read, your kidding right, what are you a hawks fan???
talk to me when your team isnt in the lottery ok???
Gunny 07-07-2007, 08:40 PM You weren't a championship team in any of the previous seasons and Hughes doesn't make any difference.
Crash Override 07-07-2007, 09:04 PM hughes is over rated he sucks, so do the wizards, championship? lmao your crazy.
RyansTitans 07-07-2007, 09:09 PM How do the Wizards suck? Jeez man! So far uve said the Cavs suck and now the Wizards. 2 Playoff teams last year. May I ask who you like?
Seeing as tho your from New York im assuming you like the gabage Knicks?
And DC dont forget Marshall on the bench also cuz hes part of the trade too. Im not sure how good its looking so far but something is in the works that would bring that a hole back to Washington.
Ill never forget that 5 foot shot he missed in game 2 of the ECF.
God. We could of finished off the Pistons in 5
Gunny 07-07-2007, 09:55 PM making the playoffs doesn't make you a good team, especially in the East where you only need to win half your games to make it.
Crash Override 07-07-2007, 10:26 PM I like the knicks, they suck at least I admit it. The wizards do not have a good team, they have gilbert arenas.
DCtitan49 07-07-2007, 10:45 PM I like the knicks, they suck at least I admit it. The wizards do not have a good team, they have gilbert arenas.
.........lol........your joking right??
Gilbert Arenas 29 ppg last season
Caron Butler 20 ppg last season
Antawn Jamison 19 ppg last season
3 All Stars
hmmm..... only gilbert, know your stuff before you say gilbert is the only one we got.
Gunny 07-07-2007, 10:50 PM Well it is a simple equation - 3 all stars and zero to show for it.
DCtitan49 07-07-2007, 10:56 PM yea and the bulls have something to show for almost getting swept by the pistons????
at least my crippled team lost to the Cavs, and was in every game they lost.
the bulls are underachievers, ben gordon cant produce unless hes on the bench, kirk heinrich is probably the 4th worst pg in the league, Ben Wallace can block shots, but cant hit the rim when he throws them up.
Gunny 07-07-2007, 11:20 PM yea and the bulls have something to show for almost getting swept by the pistons????
that they made it further than the Wizards, swept the defending champions.
Yes classic underachievers there.
at least my crippled team lost to the Cavs, and was in every game they lost.
you mean got swept by a team you call a one man team? Also a 15 point loss is in the game?
the bulls are underachievers, ben gordon cant produce unless hes on the bench, kirk heinrich is probably the 4th worst pg in the league, Ben Wallace can block shots, but cant hit the rim when he throws them up.
The same Ben Gordon who had his best season to date? The same Kirk Hinrich who is on the USA Team and considered one of the best point guards in the league.
yes real underachievers there.
Oh this is the same underachieving who beat you 3 times by a combined 66 points. A nice healthy average of 22 points per win for the mathematically challenged
Also a team that in fact did not get swept by anyone, a team that won or tied every series with every playoff team.
Perhaps it is you who should learn about the sport.
RyansTitans 07-07-2007, 11:49 PM Well im happy that I dont have to fight for my teams respect of being a good team. Seeing as tho we are the Champs if the East. And as far as im concerned even with a healthy Wizards team we still would of won. Not by a sweep.. maybe 6 or 7 games. We would of beatin the Nets *** again. Then we would of Beatin the Pistons. There was no stoppin us.
We beat the Pistons with offense. If we would of faced the Suns in the Finals I think we would of won. The Spurs were just too hard of a change for us. Going up against a really hard D in Detroit to going to the best D in San Antonio. We still had chances against them but just couldn't land shots.
Cavs will be back.
Gunny 07-08-2007, 12:08 AM You couldn't beat the Spurs on a bad day at home court.
The champions were named once Cleveland won the ECF.
RyansTitans 07-08-2007, 12:46 AM Then basically from what you said the East had absolutely no chance in winning the championship last season. Cuz if we beat the Pistons. You guys couldn't beat them. You guys beat the Heat which means we would probably beat them. Wizards had no chance at all which wasn't there fault. And the Nets just plain didn't try in my opinion.
We were the best the East had to offer. And it wasn't even good enough to win 1 game.
Is the East seriously THAT bad. Or was it us that just sucked. I know you'll say us. But if you do it makes no sense.
Gunny 07-08-2007, 01:06 AM Cavs aren't the best team in the East.
RyansTitans 07-08-2007, 01:09 AM Then who is. And why weren't they in the Finals.
Face it were the EC Champs. Until someone beats us in the Playoffs.
Gunny 07-08-2007, 01:18 AM Detroit are better and they played like crap.
They also have a better and longer history of winning.
One lucky and soon after embarrassing performance doesn't make you the best team in the East. And you will soon see Cleveland will not be seen as the #1 East team in any rankings, ratings and what not.
DCtitan49 07-08-2007, 10:46 AM gunny, we didnt have our 2 allstars, so how can we show anything? your trying to say the wizards suck, when, as a full team, they only played 12 games last season. 12........im not going to take anything away from the bulls, but they had a full squad, and went into the playoffs expecting so much, what did they show for it?
BigRed3 07-08-2007, 05:47 PM lol, big read, your kidding right, what are you a hawks fan???
talk to me when your team isnt in the lottery ok???
Nah bro, i'm not a Hawks fan. I was just saying that the supposed re-acquisition of Larry Hughes does nothing for the Wizards. He was completely terrible for the Cavs in the postseason, and has largely been a bust since they signed him. So putting him back on the Wizards roster does not change anything, they'll still be a top four team in the East (which could be mistaken for a lottery team in the West.)
Gunny 07-08-2007, 06:04 PM what did they show for it?
what every other East team showed. Nothing.
And the Bulls didn't have a full squad.
bulluck4dMVP 07-08-2007, 06:36 PM So putting him back on the Wizards roster does not change anything, they'll still be a top four team in the East (which could be mistaken for a lottery team in the West.)
:ha: aint that the truth.
DCtitan49 07-11-2007, 08:11 PM id put the wizards, cavs, bulls, pistons, in the top 10 in the league any day....
