The plan is to keep Titans first-round pick Michael Griffin at cornerback — for now. He looked out of place, especially in man defense (Pacman Jones’ calling card), in the OTAs, but the coaches feel Griffin is a good enough athlete to make the switch from college safety. Still, given the team’s good CB depth and seeming dearth at safety, don’t rule out a switch back to safety in training camp.
PFT... so I post it here. thoughts? anything to it?

I'm surprised you didn't put quotations marks around "hope" and make that cheesy pun we've all heard umpteen freakin' million times.

I bet he's a safety. We picked up Herndon post-draft so Fisher's thoughts might have changed since draft day.

That's actually a quote from ProFootballWeekly not ProFootballTalk.
PFW is actually a pretty good site, but this was in their "whispers" section.

As long as Thompson isn't the starter at FS Im fine. If Griffin stays at corner he better play good.
We got Lowry and Fuller who we drafted to one day show what they got. If Griffin can play at PacMans level or maybe even better then I got no problem with him starting on the right side.
Ill cry if we have to endure watching Hill/Thompson again all season long giving up first down after first down.
