View Full Version : pick #6?
PAtitansfan53 08-20-2007, 02:39 PM I'm hopping Addai's there but who should I take counting out LT, Gore, and Steven. I think LJ might slip but his contract dispute, supporting cast, and 400 carry season has me scared...any advice?
My reasoning for seeing LJ fall is based on what the I've heard form the players in my league but if he signs by our draft I'm sure he's gone.
Carpy 08-20-2007, 02:42 PM Presuming standard scoring sytem, I'd suggest Westbrook or Addai.
If LJ is still there I'd take him.
PAtitansfan53 08-20-2007, 02:43 PM yeah standard.
Starkiller 08-20-2007, 05:43 PM After your top 3 there is presumably gone, I'd go Addai, LJ, and Alexander
DCtitan49 08-21-2007, 01:10 AM this might be confusing but try to stay with me, if the number 7 team is in your division, then you have to take LJ, because you cant risk him being twice as good as last season, then hes got one of the best backs in the league and a 11-14 back, and your stuck with addai and a 15-16 back.
if he isnt in your division... you can go with whoever you think will have the better season. i feel addai is going to have a good season, but he is overrated massivly to be ranked 6th best in the league at fantasy football.
im taking LJ tho, thats a steal at 6...
Starkiller 08-21-2007, 11:56 AM In the first round of the draft, forget about any other team. Draft the best player available.

in that case you have to draft LJ
GoTitans3801 08-21-2007, 02:04 PM Oh, and LJ has reached an agreement. Holdout over, he's in for a big season. Take him if he's there. If Alexander or Addai fall, take them then.
DCtitan49 08-23-2007, 12:20 AM addai doesnt have to fall, he will be there most likely...
PAtitansfan53 08-23-2007, 01:34 AM yeah if LJ's there I take him no doubt but him signing basically means he's gone by my pick.
bigtitan53279 08-23-2007, 02:09 AM im telling you guys, stay away from LJ. no runningback has ever bounced back from a 400 carry season.

yep, good point, heres a Did You Know? for ya...
of the 8 or so Runningbacks that have carried the ball 350+ times the season before, the following season have averaged roughly around 736 yards and 6 TD's. Thats an average.
