This was pretty crazy...

As I was laying on the couch last night around 9'ish... I recieved a text from a buddy of mine who was in Indianapolis. One of the guys he was with has a wife who works in the ER at one of the Hospitals there and she heard over the scanner that they were bringing in Peyton Manning in via life line... About 15 minutes later another friend of ours that was on the complete other side of town with no contact called and said he had heard that Peyton had died in a car wreck... It was pretty wierd.

Turns out it was all false call on the scanner! I can't believe how fast news can travel. Specially when it's false!

I'm not a Peyton fan or anything but I wouldn't wish that on anyone... He is one of the best QB's of all time... As much as I hate to admit.

I heard the same rumor too. It was quite shocking, but luckily it turned out not to be true.

wasn't exactly a false call...it was just the wrong peyton manning. We have more than one in indy, though only one is famous. The hospital even brought in QB Peyton Mannings doctor just to be sure it wasn't him. Oddly enough SHE IS FEMALE! LOL. Glad to hear not all Titans fans wish him ill.

That's messed up. Although, he'll probably rather die than watch Tom Brady be everything ESPN thought Manning was this season.

Peyton's actual doctor is female, but his role playing doctors never are. It's weird.

I didn't mean his doctor was female i meant the Peyton Manning who was in a car crash...yet they still called in peytons doctor to confirm it wasnt him. I would thing the bra and thong would have given it away.

Kind of curious how old the girl was and if she was named after him ( parents are colts or vols fans??).

Is the last name Manning that common? If my last name was Harris, you better dang well believe I would have named my kid Franco, lol.

All that aside, still sad at the end of the day.
