Anyone watch this? I thought the show was good but then again I like the Terminator movies. Not sure where they can go with this show esp since we already know they never stopped Skynet from happening..see Terminator 3

I was watching the local weather this morning and they called their radar system Skynet

hasn't the date for Skynet already passed, or is that HAL ?

The series is set in the recent past (like 2001 or something)

I downloaded the pilot a few months ago and didn't think it was all that good.

Gosh, is it at least as good as the bionic woman?

Nope the Terminator is hotter then the Bionic woman.

Since the Terminator now plans to be with John Connors for an extended period of time how does her body regenerate itself? I could understand a certain amount of replicating healing bio organic material but eventually it would run out and she would start looking like some creepy Frankenstein’s monster.

This arises the possibility of newer hotter terminators .. maybe a new one each season? This is how this show could get pretty cool. At the end of each season you know the good terminator is going to eat it. Not sure how or when ... but it will be crushed.

The movie was so much better after watching the series and seeing the character development .... :dork:

Yep, makes a big difference to see the TV show first.

I saw the movie first .... then most of the episodes ... but they seem to make the movie make more sense each one I see ..

Okay, like I've mentioned before, I have no TV; but I saw a couple of ads during the SB. Am I to understand from those ads and what I read here that Sarah Conner is a rewired Terminator herself?

I'm a bit late on this. How many episodes have played so far?

Don't know if this will be good, but if Fox wants good, they'd bring back Firefox. Guess that battle has long been lost though. Still cool to see some of those actors getting gigs....bet Firefox/Serenity helped a lot.

And is the govenator ever going to get to T4? Hey if John Rambo can never die....

The Governator's age really showed in #3. I don't think it would be very convincing in #4.

I didn't think Arnold's part in #3 was bad, even if he's looking older. And what's a Terminator movie without him?

Let Cali sink into the ocean man, get back to movies! :ha:

just a hitch like cameo would be good for the governator.

I have watched all the episodes and no Sarah isn't a rewired terminator, not sure what you saw in an ad that made it seem that way. The young girl is a terminator sent back to aid the john and sarah. Like I said I have watched all the episodes so far, goodness knows that with the writers strike there isn't crap on now, I am still waiting for 24 to start up again.

They might be doing the next series of 24 in two parts for this year and next year.

A real ground breaking concept & they're going to call it 12.:sarcasm:
