Titans Hold Physical Padded Practice

The Titans held a noon practice from Baptist Sports Park Saturday to simulate game-type weather for the season-opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Following a late-night practice on Friday, the team practiced in full pads and devoted most of the day to full team drills.

SUMMARY: At high noon today, Titans training camp had it's second session in full pads. KVB and Tony Brown watched today's work from the sidelines. There was no indication either was hurt so I'll assume it was a day off. Same for Nick Harper and Vincent Fuller. Justin McCareins, however, did not participate and reports yesterday were he had some hamstring tightness. Albert Haynesworth, who sat out last night's session was on the field.

Today was a good day for UFA Edward Williams. Williams pulled in a pass from Vince Young during 1-on-1 work over Michael Griffin. He later had a deep reception over Calvin Lowry. During 11-on-11 work today, he was on the receiving end of a deep Ingle Martin pass though the defender had fallen down.

Im really pulling for this guy.... his measurables are great. I hope he makes the team

Williams will be on the practice squad if anything.
