SUMMARY: Yesterday, I gave the rundown of my impressions of the QBs, RBs and FBs. Today, let's look at the WRs, TEs and OL in the first week of training camp.
Wide Receivers
Justin Gage: I will go ahead and say right here that Gage, Justin McCareins and Brandon Jones are clearly looking better than the rest of the Titans WRs. Gage has shown consistency so far with solid hands and uses his body well to screen off the defender. He seems to have a knack of finding holes and getting himself open.

Wow. Great article. The one competition that I think has flown under the radar is TE. We might carry 4 TE on the roster on this point, but if we do not, it's going to be a competition between Blakely and Sciafe. This one might be more interesting than the WR competition.

When we drafted Stevens, my first thought was that it made Blakley the odd man out. That may not be the case anymore.
One thing to consider is Crumpler's health. If he is more fragile than he's looked this week, the Titans may want to keep four TEs. They can't being up someone from the practice squad unless Petrowski still qualifies.

Was the 2nd Chris Davis any good? I never heard of him. I'm really hoping Paul Williams, Lavelle Hawkins, or Biren Ealy play well this year and help out significantly.

We'll have to see. He's just working positional drills at the moment. Maybe he's learned enough of the playbook to get in some of the drills today.
I'm heading out in a few so will have a report later today.

Great articles Jeff. I appreciate reading all about training camp since I can't be there.
I'm optimistic about several things on offense...I think Vince will continue to struggle in areas, but he'll be better than what we've seen so far. I think Dinger will allow him to be the athlete he is and not force him to be something he isn't...I'm psyched to see CJ in action... I love speed. He's got to be a nice compliment to Landale...I too was not realy excited to see JMac come back but I'm glad to see him doing well. I wanted to see MW do something but I guess we gave it a shot and that's all we can ask...
Thanks again for the training camp updates.

In order of who I feel is playing the best so far:
Gage
McCareins
B. Jones
Ealy
P Williams
C. Davis #1
E. Williams
I haven't seen enough of Chris Davis #2 to know where he ranks here.
After Jones, it's a significant drop, IMO.
