Well it's not like you add any reasoning to the board.

Or sign him to a long term deal like I suggested.

I am optimistic about KB this year. He went all year last year with out a major injury, he just wasn't ever 100%, so I think that is a good sign at least.

He should be over his ACL now, and I think he has a good shot at staying healthy.

My question is, has KB ever been completely healthy through a training camp? He hasn't that I can remember. I will be excited to see what KB can do with a full offseason under his belt to start the regular season. I think he will go beast mode day 1.

Also, the dude is just what 24 years old now? He is as young as some rookies coming into the league, so he has still got his prime ahead of him, and the injuries he suffered may one day seem like the distant past.

I agree with the 'tag him if he produces this year' camp, but if he can stay healthy and produce 2 years in a row, then I would sign him long term, even if it takes a lot of money. Sure there is the chance that he pulls an AH, but you don't get better by letting talent walk. You have to take the risk IMO ... of course that is assuming he puts together 2 full seasons of being healthy and not getting into any trouble.

You actually do not even need to wait. Put him on the trade block as soon as you tag him.

Absolutely no way we are signing Kenny Britt to a long term contract, even if he breaks Calvin Johnson's single season records next season. We can't trust him to stay out of legal trouble, or trust his injury prone body to hold up. If Britt does really well, we can franchise tag him, or sign him to a short contract with low pay.. like 4 year/30 mil. Britt will probably test free agency before he agrees to that, so it's unlikely.
