I totally disagree that he's still the fastest player in the league. But it's a dumb thing for us to argue because there's really no way to prove it without an official NFL race lol. I think he's still one of the fastest people on the field at all times though. He's not slow by any means.

I was intrigued by both especially Ziggy, but big risk there based on what you know. Kid has the talent, but production doesn't match at all.

He likes the mau5, I'm sold. Actually I was sold already haha. Love this pick, games are won in the trenches plain and simple. Locker and CJ can't do anything if they're getting jacked up behind the line of scrimmage. They're putting together a tough football team. Go heavy on D for the rest of the draft and I'll be very excited for next season.

I think they've done pretty much everything they can for Locker. It's his ship now, they've put him in a good place with all the tools he needs. That and CJ better show up, no more excuses. I'm absolutely LOVING this off season so far, can't remember ever saying that before.

Pumped with the pick, our OL should be solid this year.

I liked our response in the war room, I loved Chance's reaction on the stage. The dude wanted to be here and we wanted him here. Good combination IMO

    On Chris Johnson...

Has he lost some speed? Probably. He's still elite in that category though.

My main complaint is his attitude. From our best player, I want an Eddie, a Steve, a friggin warrior who drags the test of the team through tough times through sheer for of will.

CJ strikes me as a whiny little punk. Always running his mouth. Always pointing the finger. Always throwing teammates under the bus.

I wouldn't follow him into a free strip club full of Victoria secret models on Spanish fly. And I bet his teammates feel the same.

I'd be willing to bet my house that this was exactly the pick they wanted, no matter who else was on the board at the time.

What you guys may be seeing is the next turn of the NFL philosophy away from the passing game and back to running the football by the way we are rebuilding our OL. NFL psychology is cyclical, teams move to the pass, then over a few seasons teams realize the best way to beat the pass is to have the best TOP so the opponents don't have time to pass, so they start building an offense around running the rock. Eventually it starts to change back to a passing philosophy and so on and so on.

The X factor here is of course the elite QB's: Brady, Manning, Little Manning, Rogers, Brees and etc. etc. Does the whole philosophical change happen because the teams with the elite QB's win mostly by passing? Or are there other reasons?

Honestly I think our OL is going to be dominate this season, and other teams will take notice that if made a priority, running the rock is just as good or better than elite passing games.
