Because he's a better QB than Peyton Manning and Tom Bradys love child.

But seriously, Mr. Timothy Richard Tebow was release this morning by the Jets. Would you guys consider signing him, if he agreed to switch to FB. I think Tebow realizes his time as a QB is over, no team will sign him to play QB (likely). However, I do think he could be a good fullback. He's 6'3 240 and is a physical runner, he's dedicated and could learn a blocking scheme quickly. He also could provided that "power back" to complent with Shonn & CJ. He'd be cheap and would get us some media attention.

    So what say you!

I would love it but I doubt he would actually move to fullback.

Why do people think he could be a FB? What blocking skills has he ever shown?

Tebow will likely end up working for the Gator Radio Network or something in capacity there. He'll tour and do speeches. If a QB goes down in training camp, he'll maybe get a call.

The sad thing is that all the sports talk will now go from the impact of the draft to his release in a flash.

I think if nobody picks him up, then he'll realize he will need to switch to stay in the league.

Question is, will anyone sign him to play QB?

Jags - Do need to sell tickets, didn't sign/trade for him last year. Drafted Denard to be their "wildjag" QB. Do they trust him to start over Gabbert? They should Gabby sucks. Their GM also shut down the idea at his first news conference in January.

Oak - Always makes silly moves. Flynn/Pryor aren't anything special. Could use another QB for competition.

Sea - Could incorpate a wildcat and be a backup to Russell; do they have any backups?

Honestly I can think of any team that would sign him to be a quarterback.

He already has a second career doing "Motivational" and "Leadership" speaking. He can continue that. All over north and central Florida.

And I have no idea why people seem to want this guy as an FB or TE. Even more, what makes anyone think he would take such a position? He is used to being a superstar. No way he settles for an afterthought position like FB.

You're absolutely right but I love Tebow for some odd reason. On second thought bringing him in, in any capacity would lead to a media generated QB controversy so never mind. I'd love it if he ends up in New England. The locals would love him, he'd fit right in.

No. Tebow can't throw. It's that simple. He can't run when he's beefed up 30 lbs either. He has little experience/talent with blocking or catching. He doesn't play special teams. He carries a circus with him everywhere he goes.

Why would we give up a roster spot for that?

    No, no, and no.

He's an athlete and built like a fullbackm i'm not saying every athlete translates into a football player... but he's worth the chance. Sign him for cheap, he'll get one off-season training camp to prove worthy of a fullback spot. If he doesn't show anything, he gets the boot.

We should definitely sign Tim Tebow, right after we sign Vince Young.

While we're at it lets go see what Ken Dorsey and Joey Harrington are up to.

Then we can hire Jon Gruden as coach to hug them all.

I like Tebow... just not as a QB. And he's a QB.
