I also think the worst case scenario is Locker stinks but we go 7-9 and aren't in prime draft position to draft a QB.

We need to draft a Qb next year if Locker sucks

May sound crazy but I wouldn't want him. If Jake fails he'll be the 3rd "mobile" QB in a row who was not able to bring us all the way. I want a pure pocket passer next.

Manziel will be trash in the NFL and no to Cousins. Either we bring in a guy like in the 2nd/3rd for competition with Locker (assuming he either got hurt again or only had a decent season) or if Locker totally fails this year we do whatever we can to move up for one of the top 2 QB's in the draft and start over again with another rookie.

I find it unlikely that we part ways with Locker after this season.

However, if he is SO bad that we must, you identify if there is a sure fire stud in the next draft. Bridgewater looks likely.

Then, you trade WHATEVER IS NECESSARY to get him. Three firsts in a row? Fine. Pull the trigger.

Manziel and Clowney are going 1-2 in the next draft

IDK what all this talk about Bridgewater is 90% of you had no idea who he was before the sugar bowl

If we don't make the playoffs this year and Locker struggles we're going to have a new coaching staff anyway and the HC is going to want his own guy. We're not going to be able to base everything on Locker's performance this season but also how far do the Titans actually go?

Normally I'd say the 3rd best QB in the draft class has no chance of going 1st overall but the Bills did pick up Manuel so anything is possible. They would just have to be Buffalo Bills stupid to pick Manziel 1st overall.

Manziel is not a NFL ready quarterback yet and I also doubt he comes out this season (unless he pulls a Jason Collins)

You had no idea who Manziel was before he won the Heisman; generalizing statements go both ways bub.

Everyone who follows college football closely knew who Teddy Bridgewater was but until the Sugar Bowl he had never played a ranked team outside of Clemson (which they lost) before the Sugar Bowl there was no indicator whether he was legit or not. He is and now we know what he can do against top 10 competition.
