People can go ahead an sleep on Mccaron if they want to but mark my words this guy will have a great NFL career. He reminds me a lot of Tom Brady his first few years in the league but no one gives him credit because he plays on a great team.

He is the anti-Tebow; all of the NFL skillset but none of the hype.

Also make no mistake as I am completely aware that Mccaron will not be a first round pick but that does nothing to lessen my opinion of him as a player. The fact that his skillset is less impressive because he plays on Alabama (which is just stupid IMO) and he doesn't fit into the mold of the read option QB fad makes me believe that he will be a steal for some team in the 2nd or maybe even 3rd round.

I do not now or ever make my prospect rankings based on when I think a player will be drafted; I base them on how I think they will do in the NFL.

Ex: I had Justin Hunter, Aaron Dobson, and Robert Woods rated higher then Tavon Austin but I knew that Austin was going to be a top ten pick while I thought they would go ing the late 1st round, 3rd round, early second round respectively.

Even if Locker stinks this season he's not going anywhere. Now if he sucks the following season then a change will likely come. Lets not get ahead of ourselves huh?

Well, if Locker stinks then most likely the team will not do well. And in that situation we're going to be looking at a brand new coaching staff for 2014. You think a new coach would still want to roll with Locker (a guy who would've at that point posted back-to-back disappointing seasons)?

I've been trying to say this as well, but people still put out the idea that Locker will still be around if he sucks this year. They will clean house if we suck this year, and nobody wants a never-was QB off of two bad seasons as their QB when taking over a franchise.

Yeah I agree. I could see them possibly keeping him on the roster since he's only scheduled to make $2 million in 2014. But they'd definitely be drafting another QB early or bringing in their own guy via free agency. I certainly can't see him starting in 2014 if he sucks this year.
