teachers don't do anything, especially high school ones. There are some good college professors but most of them are just as lazy

I can truthfully say, I had TWO..... ONLY TWO teachers who

    a) Actually taught, and enjoyed teaching
    b) Did everything they could to make sure their students understood all the material.

I went from having A+ in math every report card, to getting bumped up 3 grades in math. That is all fine and dandy, but the advanced class I was put into had one of the WORST "teachers" I had ever met. The ***** wouldn't even attempt to explain ANYTHING. Just wrote bs out on the board, and sat her fat, lazy ass back down in her chair.

I was REALLY excited about math after that..

I had a teacher that was so rude and spiteful, I told her I was going to kill her. This wasn't long after Columbine, lol. I was out of school for a few weeks, but when I came back she changed her whole attitude.

What I'm trying to say is

Why would you expect me to side with the teacher?

... you don't know me at all.

Related: I wanted to be a teacher for a short stint... just because I had teachers that didn't teach all through my school years. The 2 teachers I learned the most from- I failed their class. Says a lot... passed the others.

But I always wanted to go back and give kids the type of teacher I wanted. But... they get paid beans, and I'd end up sleeping with some stacked 18 yr old senior cheerleader, so I decided against it.

I substitute teached a couple times two years ago or so and I felt like a babysitter.. and this was at high school level. I was not *allowed* to help them with their work if they asked. All I could do was hand them worksheets that took 20mins max to finish and then they sat there the rest of the hour and of course acted up because they had nothing to do. It was pathetic.

Everything about this story is true except the cheerleader wasn't 18 and had a couple of years to go before becoming a senior.

Hey, at least she kept her promise and really didn't tell.
