Cortland Finnegan, Blaine Bishop, George Wilson are all guys who changed positions and had it work for them.

Klug is a who has had 10 sacks in two years of limited snaps at DT so I'm not really sure why people don't have some confidence in him. The way I see it Klug could play instead of Wimbley and I bet if he had the same number of snaps over a season would get as many or more sacks as Wimbley at DE and be a better run defender. He could be better than Jones was so I'm not going to sell the guy short until he proves me wrong.

Quite honestly I see Klug as more of a backup / depth guy to Morgan than a guy like Pit who is more of a 3-4 DE and DT. I think it has a chance to work out.

The Solomon look at SLB certainly is a possible 3-4 move. His measurables aren't much different than other 3-4 OLBs. Outside of Wimbley and Ayers we really don't have another guy who fits as a 3-4 OLB.

I just think that being an edge rusher is a much different skillset than a rushing DT provides. A person that's good in coverage will likely be good in coverage wherever they are placed, but a quality pass rushing DE requires a lot more finesse that a person who can slip a guard and be directly in front of the QB. If a DE pulls a Dwight freeney and overruns the play, then the containment is lost, and the QB can run free. It's much less responsibility for a DT, because they still have rushers on each side of them, DEs are the last thing between the QB and the open sideline. I think a big DE would more easily convert to DT than the other way around.

Obviously some can make that transition, but I wouldn't bank on it unless that player is really special.

Jason Jones wasn't as explosive at Klug...Klug will be a good DE, whether its 43 or 34...

Why not try him out there though? We have too many DT's, and our main backup DE is Dawson...really? I think y'all just like to argue(like females).

So are white people, you racist!

And they live like our black people here do. With racists holding them back.

Though, I'm not sure how that works... why white people would hold other white people back for being white? Racists are weird.
