I don't necessarily want Munch to be a crazy coach on the sidelines and be all insane like Will Muschamp. There are several coaches that never show emotion or go crazy like Tony Dungy. But I think what we all would like to see is just something in his face like he actually cares. I think there's a difference in being emotional and going crazy on the sidelines, and just making the "I'm trying to fart silently" face that Munch always makes.

Much and Williams should make a great team.

The one thing I did like about Jeff Fisher was he stood up for his guys, refs didn't enjoy defending themselves when Fisher called them out on one of their calls.
I feel like refs couldn't care less about Munchak though, so they dont mind dealing with him.

Fisher had a mean streak to him, which IMO fires players up and makes them want to play for you.

Fisher also chairs that competition committee and knows the rules better than pretty much every other HC in the league.

This is exactly what i wish Munch would do is get fired up sometimes because the players definitely feed off of that.Munch is always laid back on the sidelines you sometimes have to think if sometimes that isn't good for the team because a lot of times players do get motivation from their coaches. In Munch's case i do wonder what the players think of his demeanor a lot of times because he always seems like he is at ease with everything.

I wonder if Munchak believes showing emotion makes you venerable?

The thing is, if you ask the players most of them really enjoy Munchak as their coach. When many players were asked last year about him potentially losing their job most of the players stood up for him and said they wanted him to stay. That's all that matters to me.

Question while we're on the subject: Can a head coach in the NFL be ejected like in baseball for arguing too long/hard saying the wrong thing? I've never seen it if they have.

If we had Belichick and were winning at the rate the Patriots are, I don't think anyone would have problems with his demeanor. If the team were winning, Munch could be on the sideline knitting Jerry Gray a sweater for all I care. Which is probably not that far off from what he has actually been doing on Sunday's anyway.

This is one thing that has always bothered me about Munch, I've never seen him show emotion. I always see him just standing there with his arms crossed, looking disappointed. That's not going to get anything done. He needs to be chewing guys out when they screw up, and being energetic to get the team fired up. At least that way he would be putting more effort into it, not just standing there like he's half asleep.
