-Verner trying out position we suck at and staff trying to put pressure on Griffin
-Locker showing some good and bad
-Thompson is a project but I'm rooting for him
-It's just OTA's, this is the time to mess around with the roster

Pretty much every article I have read says Locker has looked good, then they mention that he had 1 or 2 bad passes, but looked good overall. So I would say Locker has been showing some good.

Its OTAs, when you are just dropping back and passing over and over again, you are going to make some bad throws every once in a while ... its just part of practice. Even Tom Brady will throw some bad passes in OTAs.

Really though, we can't judge the good or the bad until TC when the pads are on. Its a lot easier to make good throws with no pressure.

It took one season to see him make some of the most embarrassing football plays I've ever seen in my life.

    I'd rather not see anymore.

Of course are against it. Odds are pretty severely against ANY player taken that deep in the draft developing into a decent player, let alone a stud. Those rounds are, by definition, crap shoots. So if your gonna gamble, May as well bet on a guy with at least the potential to be great, than some undersized player with experience that, best case, well be a reliable relief player. Just my two cents.

That's a respectable position. I ackknowledge that my beliefs are not as rational but every once in a while you see a guy that you just believe in and it's fun to watch him and see if he ever develops into his potential. TT is that guy for me. I felt similarly about Brown but he came along a lot faster than I ever dreamed he could.

I have to laugh that the "Hey, he's huge and kind of athletic... we'll just teach him to catch and he'll be great!..... I wonder why his college team didn't think of this?" train of thought.

Expecting a nobody in college to do anything in the NFL is extremely optimistic.

This guy is the TE version of Chris Henry, basically.

The reason he even made the switch to DE is because SMU's offense didn't use a tight end but he loved the school and didn't want to go elsewhere. He played his entire high school career as a tight end. And went into the recruiting process as a TE. I'd bet he's been playing TE just as long if not longer than DE. At least know the guy's story so your criticisms can make sense. It's not like it's his first time playing the position.
