Dude, your nut-riding of CJ makes you delusional.

Parker was drafted solely due to his speed. Just like CJ was. He ran a 4.28.

And for whoever said "Bo's wasn't official! It was hand timed!"... he ran a 4.13 electronic, supposedly.

    Get off CJ's jock.

One thing is for certain- CJ has looked SLOW for the past 2 seasons. So keep that in mind.

He had one play where he looked fast. Other than that, he's been looking like an average RB in the open field.

hahahhahahahaha wow your outdoing yourself buddy slow the last two seasons???? you do know its a fact he had 3 runs over 80 yards last year right more than anyone has had in there whole career??????????? well as much as anyone has had in a career. a slow back wouldn't be able to bust those out i.e. Jamaal charles

    Willie Parker??

Dude ran like a 4.4 in pads. He was fast but not get away from the cops fast.

There are very few players who can pull away from people like CJ. I'd put my money on Campbell over Parker and even Bennett in pads. To be the fastest Runningback of all time, you have to be the fastest on the field everytime you break away. CJ has shown that time and time again. He'll start from behind the defender, pass him, and then be slowing down the last 20 yards. His 40-60 yard split is deadly.

Great thread Beast! I think we all know that I'm with you on this. There have been dozens of great RBs. Some with great speed, some tough bruisers. CJ isn't gonna bust it through the middle like Earl or Eddie did but even the great Bo Jackson or Barry Sanders weren't on CJ's level when it comes to straight speed. And while Jamaal Charles is fast as hell too, he aspires to get to CJ's level.

CJ is a trailbrazer and has had the ability to take it to the house since the first snap he took in the league. Talk about him losing a step all you want but that is irrelevant. Even if he never plays another down he as already cemented himself as the most lethal RB threat to ever play the game. Every opening he's ever had he's taken it to the house and has that ability even today.

So the short and sweet answer is Yes, CJ is the fastest RB, Ever. He's not just fast, he's got "getting away from the cops speed"! I doubt that's ever been said about another RB ever.

The most impressive CJ run was a 50 yard touchdown in a preseason game against St. Louis his rookie year. I've never seen anyone run 50 yards that fast before.
