Would've been cool as hell to have C.J. and Devin Hester here at the same time.Could've had two of the most dangerous players both here.Imagine all those kickoff and punt returns he scored could've possibly changed the outcome of certain games. Also instead of ******* Lendale fumbling in the 2008 playoff Ravens we might've had Hester scoring a winning TD.Yeah looking back that one stings because you could imagine what might've been because we've always had a pretty good special teams here so Hester would've fit right in.The more you think about it Fisher decision making screwed us in many ways.

As much as LenWhale was a bust, we needed that big fat RB more than a returner with our 2nd round pick back then. Hester is (was?) an amazing returner, but as a CB/WR he's been less than average.

Hester will want to go somewhere that he can play WR. I don't think that fits given the players at WR we currently have.

I thought we traded at the last minute and picked up Lendale later?

We could have drafted Hester instead of LW but at the last second changed to LW.
I understand the rationale but as it turned out RBs like LW aren't hard to come by and Hester is one of the best ever as a returner.

I wouldn't mind having this guy for the right price.

There are only a few things he is good at, returning kicks and the occasional screen pass. I wouldn't be willing to pay him all that much though. With these new kicking rules a guy whose biggest upside is his kick return skills is not all that useful. No punter in his right mind will kick it to him. Although teams still do it for some reason. He has to be better than Reynauld, I still don't think Mariani makes the team.

He better hurry. Pre-season games have already started in the CFL.

Somebody tell him to run a GO route, with his speed and his lack of knowledge at the WR position, he'll be in Canada in no time at all.
