I just have to say; I love that we added Bernard Pollard, I think Ive said that a few times though, but yea Pollard is going to make us accountable, he's going to take this defense by the hand and show them how it's done. He's also going to give Jake Locker and our offense a great look throughout the week to have them ready come Sunday.

Every time this guy speaks you need to listen, so click the video, it'll brighten your day.

You forgot the part about knocking the piss out of someone, he only says that every time he speaks.

"we're giving them free looks....in a few weeks, we get to knock the piss out of them...no more free looks...."

    CLASSIC Gregg Williams mantra.

I'm liking what I'm hearing. I will definitely be going to some TC when the schedule is released so I can be a believer.

If Pollard walks the walk even 50% as much as he talks the the talk I'm going to absolutely love this guy. He might be our most underrated pickup of the offseason.

I loved the signing but not so much the contract. He's only 28 (if I remember correctly) and we only signed him for 1 year $2 million I think. If he has a big season he's going to want to get paid. Why not just go ahead and give him a long term contract, 3-4 years so we don't have to worry about losing him?

But I love what he says here. We needed some attitude on this team and stuff like that is contagious.

Probably because this is already his 4th team ... they just want to give him a trial 1st.

If he is good though and asks for more money, we can just give him Griffin's contract after we cut him next year haha

Clearly talent aside, there is something wrong with Pollard that keeps getting him let go by teams. We must be playing it safe before diving in on a huge contract.

Then we have zero Free Safetys on this team. Griffin isn't getting cut if he performs better this season.

I like how it sounds like he's taking his leadership role very seriously. I expected him to treat us as just another stop but it seems like he wants to settle in here as the unquestioned leader of the defense. He already has a ring so I doubt he'll just hop from team to team in the future. If we have a good year (playoffs) I don't think he'll want to go elsewhere.
